Bob Hazle
Robert Sydney "Hurricane" Hazle (December 9, 1930 – April 25, 1992) was an American professional baseball player. He was an outfielder over parts of three Major League seasons (1955; 1957–1958) with the Cincinnati Redlegs, Milwaukee Braves and Detroit Tigers. Hazle was a member of the 1957 World Series champion Braves. For his Major League career, he hit .310 with 9 home runs and 37 runs batted in in 110 games played. Hazle was born in Laurens, South Carolina. He batted left-handed, threw right-handed, and was listed as tall and . He attended Wofford College and signed with Cincinnati in 1950. Professional career Hazle debuted with the Redlegs late in the 1955 season. He told reporters that Redlegs manager Birdie Tebbetts said he would be splitting time with Frank Robinson in the outfield but he only got into six games. The following spring, he was traded with Corky Valentine to the Milwaukee Braves in return for George Crowe, but did not appear in the big leagues. ...

Edmund Hazle
Edmund Bryant "Nutty" Hazle (26 November 1918 – 22 June 2006) was a British soldier during the Second World War and was one of only five men awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal (DCM) and bar during the conflict. Early life Hazle was born in Hadleigh, Essex shortly after the end of the First World War and after leaving school gained employment in the printing trade. Prior to the outbreak of the Second World War Hazle joined the Territorial Army and was a member of the 4th Battalion, the Essex Regiment where he served in the battalion band. Second World War In September 1939 at the outbreak of war, the Territorial Army units were all mobilized and the 1/4th battalion formed part of 161st Infantry Brigade. The battalion served in West Africa, North Africa and Cyprus before being transferred to 5th Indian Infantry Brigade within 4th Indian Infantry Division and by Summer 1942 the battalion was involved in the North African Campaign. Marlene Hazle
Marlene Hazle (May 8, 1934 – June 7, 2011) was an American known for her work in computer science throughout the 20th century. She worked at RAND Corporation and Mitre Corporation for development of the Semi-Automatic Ground Environment and AESOP respectively. Hazle eventually became a supervisor and trained military personnel on the SAGE operating system. Hazle continued making contributions to the fields of computer science and aerospace throughout the 20th century. Biography Marlene Hazle was born in 1934 in Toledo, Ohio. Her mother was a teacher and her father was a mechanical engineer. Hazle graduated from DeVilbiss High School in Toledo, Ohio in 1952. Hazle then went on to attend Cornell University. Michael Hazle (born March 22, 1979) is a United States Olympian and National Champion (American javelin thrower.) Mike is also a former United States Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) Combat Controller (CCT). He is a four-time silver medalist at the US outdoor championships (2007–2010), before he claimed his first National Championship in 2011. He also won a silver medal in his category at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Career Hazle, a native of Conroe, Texas, started out his sporting career as a football and baseball enthusiast at Temple High School. Hazle Creek is a tributary source stream of the Lehigh and Delaware Rivers, via Black Creek, Carbon County, which originates in southern Luzerne County on the east side of the saddle of an important mountain pass hosting a transportation infrastructure corridor. The creek's source area is located within the east-side neighborhoods of Hazleton, Pennsylvania. The entire city is low lying relative to the surrounding mountainous Ridge-and-Valley Appalachians and historically was known as the "Great Swamp" and other names with either wilderness or swamp being appended—the whole area extending over to the Lehigh Gap was heavily forested with low-lying areas generally being swampy pinewood forests.
