Hazaras
The Hazaras ( fa, , Həzārə; haz, , Āzərə) are an ethnic group and the principal component of the population of Afghanistan, native to, and primarily residing in the Hazaristan (Hazarajat) region in central Afghanistan and generally scattered throughout Afghanistan. They are one of the largest ethnic groups in Afghanistan, and are also significant minority groups in neighboring Pakistan, mostly in Quetta, and as well as in Iran. They speak the Hazaragi dialect of Persian, which is mutually intelligible with Dari, one of the two official languages of Afghanistan. Hazaras are considered to be one of the most persecuted groups in Afghanistan, and their persecution has occurred various times across previous decades. Hazara (Hindko: هزاره, Urdu: ) is a region in northeastern Pakistan, falling administratively within Hazara Division of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. It is dominated mainly by the Hindko-speaking Hindkowan people, who are the native ethnic group of the region and often called the "Hazarewal". Northern Hindko
Hindko (, romanized: , ) is a cover term for a diverse group of Lahnda dialects spoken by several million people of various ethnic backgrounds in several areas in northwestern Languages of Pakistan, Pakistan, primarily in the provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab, Pakistan, Punjab. There is a nascent language movement, and in recent decades Hindko-speaking intellectuals have started promoting the view of Hindko as a separate language. There is a literary tradition based on Peshawari, the urban variety of Peshawar in the northwest, and another one based on the language of Abbottabad in the northeast. In the 2017 census of Pakistan, 4.65 million people declared their language to be Hindko. Hindko is mutually intelligible with Punjabi language, Punjabi and Saraiki language, Saraiki, and has more affinities with the latter than with the former. Abdul Ghani Hazari (12 January 1921 – 1976) was a Bangladeshi poet and journalist. He was awarded Ekushey Padak by the Government of Bangladesh in 1990. Joynal Hazari
Joynal Abedin Hazari (24 August 1945 – 27 December 2021) was a Bangladeshi politician who was a member of the Bangladesh Awami League and served as a member of Jatiya Sangsad, representing the Feni-2 constituency. He won election in 1986, 1991 and 1996. Early life Joynal Hazari was born on 24 August 1945 to Goni Hazari. He was a student at Feni College when he got involved in politics in the late 1960s. Career Hazari studied in Feni college where he entered politics. He served as the general secretary of the Feni district Awami League during 1984–2004. Maheshwar Hazari (born 9 October 1962) is an Indian politician and currently the Deputy Speaker of Bihar Legislative Assembly. He has previously served as the Minister of Industry Department, Planning and Development Department in the state of Bihar. Nizam Hazari
Nizam Uddin Hazari () is an Awami League politician and member of parliament from Feni-2. Early life Uddin was born on 1 January 1966. He has a B.com degree. His mother was Dil Afroze Begum and his father was Zainal Abedin. Career Uddin started politics while he was a student of Chittagong Govt. Commerce College. In the 1990s Uddin worked under AJM Nasir Uddin in Chittagong. Uddin was sentenced to jail on an arms case on 22 March 1992. He returned to Feni in 1997 to work under Joynal Hazari. On 16 August 2000, a court in Chittagong sentenced Uddin to ten years imprisonment on an arms case. He was released after serving five years in jail. He had appealed against the verdict with Bangladesh High Court and Bangladesh Supreme Court. Uddin was mayor of Feni in 2011.
