''Kill Me Tender'' ( es, Haz conmigo lo que quieras, lit=Do What You Want with Me, links=no) is a 2003 Spanish comedy film written and directed by (in his directorial debut feature) which stars Ingrid Rubio, Alberto San Juan, Emilio Gutiérrez Caba, and Manuel Manquiña. Plot The plot follows a love triangle between Maribel (the sister of a S&M worker), Manolo (a somewhat dumb former legion member) and Néstor (a widowed pastry chef). Cast Production The film is a Star Line TV production, and it had the participation of Canal Sur, TVC, Telemadrid, TVV, TVG, ETB, and Canal+. It was shot in Catalonia. Release The film premiered at the 6th Málaga Film Festival on 27 April 2003. Distributed by Buena Vista International, it was released theatrically in Spain on 13 February 2004. Ingrid Rubio Ruiz (born 2 August 1975 in Barcelona, Spain) is a Spanish actress. She won the Special Mention Award at the 1996 San Sebastián International Film Festival for her performance in the film ''Taxi (1996 film), Taxi''. Career She has appeared in over 20 films since 1995 and was named in 1998 as one of European films 'Shooting Stars' by European Film. ''Fotogramas'' is Spanish digital and print film magazine which has been in circulation since 1946. It is one of the early film magazines in Spain. History Founded in Barcelona, it was first published on 15 November 1946 by Antonio Nadal-Rodó and María Fernanda Gañán. On 5 February 1951, the magazine awarded their first Placa de San Juan Bosco award to actor Jesús Tordesillas for his performance in 1950 film ''Pequeñeces''. In the 1970s the magazine was part of the Nadal Group. New categories were added over time to the award which were renamed Fotogramas de Plata and in 2012 they absorbed the TP de Oro awards. Canal+ was a Spanish commercial television channel launched in September 1990 on terrestrial television frequencies. The channel was operated by Sogecable, before its eventual sale to Telefónica, and was available on the digital satellite television and IPTV platform Movistar+. In 1997, new channels using the Canal+ brand were launched in Spain, following the launch of Canal Satélite Digital. Just as on the other markets where Canal+ was present, the channels were named after colours: Canal+ Rojo (Canal+ Red) and Canal+ Azul (Canal+ Blue).
