Haywood Jeffires
Haywood Franklin Jeffires (pronounced "Jeffries"; born December 12, 1964) is a former professional American football player who was selected by the Houston Oilers in the 1st round (20th overall) of the 1987 NFL Draft out of North Carolina State. A 6'2", . wide receiver, Jeffires played in 10 NFL seasons from 1987 to 1996. Biography Jeffires was born in Greensboro, North Carolina and attended high school at Walter Hines Page High School and college at North Carolina State University. From 1983 to 1986, he registered 111 receptions for 1,733 yards and 14 touchdowns at NC State. In the 1987 NFL Draft, Jeffires was the first selection for the Houston Oilers and the 20th pick overall. Jeffires played wide receiver for the Oilers between 1987 and 1996. 1994 Pro Bowl
The 1994 Pro Bowl was the NFL's all-star game for the 1993 season. The game was played on February 6, 1994, at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii. The final Score was NFC 17, AFC 3. Andre Rison of the Atlanta Falcons was the game's MVP. This was also Joe Montana's last Pro Bowl appearance (coincidentally, the coaches for this game were from both teams that Montana played for in his career: Kansas City's Marty Schottenheimer and San Francisco's George Seifert). Webster Slaughter
Webster Melvin Slaughter (born October 19, 1964) is an American former professional American football, football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) from 1986 to 1998. Early life Slaughter was born in Stockton, California, where he attended Franklin High School (Stockton, California), Franklin High School. He was raised alongside four siblings by his mother after his father died at the age of 13. She worked as a nurse to support the family. Slaughter excelled in the sports of basketball, baseball, and track alongside the band and speech teams at high school. Andrew Hill (October 5, 1956 – March 19, 2011) was an American professional football player who was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the 12th round of the 1979 NFL Draft. A , 170 lb receiver from Georgia Tech, Hill played in 14 NFL seasons from 1979 to 1982 and from 1984 to 1993. Ernest Pastell Givins Jr. (born September 3, 1964), is a former professional American football player from St. Petersburg, Florida. He played ten seasons as a wide receiver with the National Football League (NFL), mostly with the Houston Oilers. High school and college Givins attended Lakewood High School where he was a star football player. He attended Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, then transferred to the University of Louisville. Warren Moon
Harold Warren Moon (born November 18, 1956) is an American former football quarterback who played professionally for 23 seasons. He spent the majority of his career with the Houston Oilers of the National Football League (NFL) and the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League (CFL). In the NFL, Moon also played for the Minnesota Vikings, Seattle Seahawks, and Kansas City Chiefs. Moon is considered one of the greatest undrafted players in NFL history. The run and shoot offense (also known as Run N' Shoot) is an offensive system for American football which emphasizes receiver motion and on-the-fly adjustments of receivers' routes in response to different defenses. It was conceived by former high school coach Glenn "Tiger" Ellison and refined and popularized by former Portland State offensive coordinator Mouse Davis. Description The run and shoot system uses a formation consisting of one running back and usually four wide receivers.
