Hayk Harut’yuni Chobanyan ( hy, Հայկ Հարությունի Չոբանյան; born March 5, 1973) is an Armenian historian, public official. He has been the Minister of High-Tech Industry (02.04.2021-04.08.2021). He was also Governor of Tavush Marz rom 2019 to 2021. Chairman of the board, Center of Scientific innovation and educational foundation. President, Aerodynamics CJSC. Biography Chobanyan was born in 1973 in the village Tavush of Tavush Region. Graduated from the local secondary school. From 1990 to 1995 Chobanyan studied at the History Department of Yerevan State University, where he was the first president of YSU Student Council. From 1995 to 1999 he studied at the Public Administration Academy of the Republic of Armenia. From 1995 to 1997 he served in the Armenian Army. Tavush Region
Tavush ( hy, Տավուշ, ) is a province of Armenia located at the northeast of Armenia, bordered by Georgia from the north and Azerbaijan from the east. Internally, Tavush borders the Gegharkunik Province from the south, Kotayk Province from the southwest, and the Lori Province from west. The capital and largest city of the province is the town of Ijevan. Vahagn Garniki Khachaturyan ( hy, Վահագն Գառնիկի Խաչատուրյան, ; born 22 April 1959) is an Armenian politician who is the 5th and current president of Armenia. He served as Mayor of Yerevan from 1992 to 1996 and as the Minister of High-Tech Industry from 2021 to 2022. He was a member of the Armenian National Congress until his resignation in 2017.
