Hayden Lamaro
Hayden Lamaro (born 3 October 1978) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). Early life Originally from Euroa in north-eastern Victoria, Lamaro played his junior football for Euroa Football Club in the Goulburn Valley Football Netball League (GVFL). Lamaro also played for the Murray Bushrangers in the TAC Cup. The left-footer had an outstanding 1996 season, representing the Victorian Metro side at the AFL Under 18 Championships, being named in the TAC Cup Team of the Year and winning the Bushrangers' Most Improved Award. AFL career Described as an athletic player with excellent skills, Lamaro came to the attention of AFL recruiters. He was drafted by Melbourne with the 30th selection in the 1996 AFL draft. The Kyabram District Football League (KDL) is an Australian rules football league in Victoria. It is made up of 15 teams; the most recent additions include Dookie United in 2018 and Shepparton East in 2019. The KDL is made up of smaller country town football clubs in the Goulburn Valley. The Northern Football Netball League (formerly known as the Diamond Valley Football League and later Northern Football League) is an Australian sports league based in the Diamond Valley region of suburban Melbourne, Victoria. The Essendon District Football League (EDFL) is a professional Australian rules football league competition based in Essendon, Victoria, consisting of teams based in the north-west suburbs of Melbourne. Founded in 1930, the men's competition consists of three leagues: Premier Division, Division 1 and Division 2, with 10 clubs in the Premier Division and Division 1 nine in Division 2.
