Hawkman (other)
Hawkman is the name of several superheroes appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by writer Gardner Fox and artist Dennis Neville, the original Hawkman first appeared in ''Flash Comics'' #1, published by All-American Publications in 1940. Several incarnations of Hawkman have appeared in DC Comics, all of them characterized by the use of archaic weaponry and by large, artificial wings, attached to a harness made from the special Nth metal that allows flight. Most incarnations of Hawkman work closely with a partner/romantic interest named Hawkgirl or Hawkwoman. Hawkman is most often depicted as human archaeologist Hawkman (Carter Hall), Carter Hall—the modern-day reincarnation of an ancient Egyptian prince named Khufu—or as Thanagarian police officer Hawkman (Katar Hol), Katar Hol from the planet Thanagar. Jimmy Palmiotti
James Palmiotti (born August 14, 1961) is an American writer and inker of comic books, who also does writing for games, television and film. Early life Palmiotti attended the High School of Art and Design in New York City. Career Palmiotti started at Marvel Comics in 1991. He inked titles such as the ''Punisher'', ''Ghost Rider'', '' The Nam'' and the Marvel 2099 line, and has accumulated extensive inking and writing credits. He often inked the work of his friend and collaborator Joe Quesada. Together, they created ''Ash'' and ''Painkiller Jane''. For Marvel, Palmiotti worked on the established '' Daredevil'', a run especially known for the "Guardian Devil" arc scripted by Kevin Smith. Palmiotti also worked for Dark Horse Comics, as the inker during the Doug Mahnke run on ''X''. He inked Paul Gulacy on '' Shang-Chi: Master of Kung Fu'', ''Punisher'' and ''Catwoman''. Philip Tan
Philip Tan (born 1978) is a comic book writer/artist best known for his work on ''Spawn'', ''Uncanny X-Men'' and ''Iron Man''. Career Tan graduated at the University of Santo Tomas with a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture. Tan was the penciller of '' Final Crisis: Revelations'' as well as the "Agent Orange" ''Green Lantern'' story arc, which started in ''Green Lantern'' #39 and ran through issue 42. Following Agent Orange he will be penciling the second three issue arc of Grant Morrison's Batman and Robin series with issue 6 being his last. Tan has illustrated cards for the ''Magic: The Gathering'' collectible card game. In 2011 Tan was the artist on ''Hawkman'', which was part of DC Comics' company-wide title relaunch, The New 52. In 2016, Philip Tan worked on the new Suicide Squad Rebirth series co-drawing with Jim Lee.
