Hawick Linden RFC
Hawick Linden RFC are a rugby union team based in Hawick, in the Scottish Borders. They compete in the East Regional Leagues in the . In the 2008–09 season, in which they were undefeated, they won all 12 games, they made it to the semi-final of the Scottish Plate. They play their home games at Volunteer Park. The Scottish Rugby Union (SRU; gd, Aonadh Rugbaidh na h-Alba) is the governing body of rugby union in Scotland. Tony Stanger
Anthony George Stanger (born 14 May 1968) is a Scottish former international rugby union player. With 24 international tries, he was Scotland's joint record try scorer, along with Ian Smith, until that record was broken by Stuart Hogg in November 2021. Nikki Walker (born 5 March 1982) is a Scottish rugby union player coach for Hawick RFC, who is retired from international competition having won 24 caps for Scotland. Graham Hogg (2 March 1948 - 8 August 2017) was a Scotland international rugby union player and rugby union coach. Rugby Union career Amateur career A product of Hawick High School, Hogg played for Hawick Wanderers and Hawick Linden before moving to play for Hawick. Hogg moved to Edinburgh University to study; and he then played for Boroughmuir. In 1976, he was part of the Boroughmuir side that won the Melrose Sevens. Barrie was injured for the 1938–39 season. The Hawick News and Border Chronicle of 2 September 1938 notes: Rob Barrie, who was out of the game last season, was again fighting fit, and they all trusted that he would get into the form which brought to him international honours, and that he would get more caps.
