Hawd Region
Hawd Region is a region of Somalia. The Hawd Region was created by Dahir Riyale Kahin on May 15, 2008. It sits at a DMS latitude of 8° 0 min 0 sec and a DMS longitude of 46° 30 min 0 sec. Its capital is the town of Baligubadle. Hawd is home to Dhulbahante and some Isaaqs and is now part of the current somali galbeed which is in Ethiopia. Hawd natives know that Hawd is part of them and will soon fight for independence from Ethiopia. Regions Of Somaliland
The regions of Somaliland ( so, Gobolada Somaliland; ar, محافظات صوماليلاند) is divided into six administrative regions, Awdal, Sahil, Maroodi-Jeeh, Togdheer, Sanaag and Sool. These are in turn subdivided into twenty-two districts. Regions of Somaliland are the primary geographical divisions through which Somaliland is administered. A distinction is made between districts of grades A, B, C and D, with the classification being based on population, area, economy and production. Dahir Riyale Kahin
Dahir Riyale Kahin ( so, Daahir Riyaale Kaahin, ar, ظاهر ريالي كاهن) (born 12 March 1952) is a Somaliland politician who was President of Somaliland from 2002 to 2010. He previously served as a senior officer in the National Security Service in Somalia, and he was Vice President of Somaliland from 1997 to 2002. Personal life Kahin was born in the town of Quljeed, situated in the northwestern Awdal region of Somaliland. He hails from the Jibreel Younis sub-clan of the Gadabuursi clan. He was educated in Amoud, and was later trained in Mogadishu. Career Early career Kahin's previous posts included a diplomatic position at the Somali Embassy in Djibouti.
