Safety is the state of being "safe", the condition of being protected from harm or other danger. Safety can also refer to risk management, the control of recognized hazards in order to achieve an acceptable level of risk. Meanings There are two slightly different meanings of ''safety''. Haven Denney (born October 28, 1995) is an American pair skater. With former partner, Brandon Frazier, she is a two-time Skate America silver medalist (2014, 2016), the 2014 CS Lombardia Trophy champion, the 2013 World Junior champion, and the 2017 U.S. national champion. Personal life Haven Denney was born in Ocala, Florida. Her parents, DeeDee and Bryan Denney, both competed in roller skating. Haven won the 2003 U.S. pairs roller skating silver medal. She is the younger sister of U.S. pair skater Caydee Denney. Career Early years Haven Denney and Brandon Frazier first teamed up in 2002 as roller skaters before switching to the ice. James Lamont Gillespie (February 6, 1888 – March 14, 1975) pen name Haven Gillespie, was an American Tin Pan Alley composer and lyricist. Haven Kimmel (born 1965) is an American author, novelist, and poet. Life and career Kimmel was born Susan Elizabeth Jarvis ("Betsy") in New Castle, Indiana, and was raised in Mooreland, Indiana, the focus of her bestselling memoir, ''A Girl Named Zippy: Growing up Small in Mooreland, Indiana'' (2001). The book is written from the perspective of Kimmel as a young girl, and in it she sheds light on the townspeople of Mooreland living there in the 1960s and 1970s during the author's childhood. "A Rape on Campus" is a retracted, defamatory ''Rolling Stone'' magazine article written by Sabrina Erdely and originally published on November 19, 2014, that describes a purported group sexual assault at the University of Virginia (UVA) in Charlottesville, Virginia. ''Rolling Stone'' retracted the story in its entirety on April 5, 2015. The article claimed that a UVA student Jackie Coakley had been taken to a party hosted by UVA's Phi Kappa Psi fraternity by a fellow student. At the party, Jackie alleged in the article, her date led her to a bedroom where she was gang raped by several fraternity members as part of a fraternity initiation ritual. Haven Christopher Moses (born July 27, 1946) is an American former professional football player who was a wide receiver for 14 seasons in the American Football League (AFL) and National Football League (NFL). Moses initially played college football at Los Angeles Harbor College, then transferred to San Diego State University under head coach Pro football Moses was selected ninth overall in the 1968 NFL/AFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills of the AFL.
