Melissa Hauschildt
Melissa Hauschildt (''née'' Rollison, born 13 April 1983 in Adelaide) is an Australian professional triathlete and former middle-distance runner. She is a 3-time World Champion, winning Gold at the 2011 and 2013 Ironman 70.3 World Championship as well as the 2013 ITU Long Distance Triathlon World Championships. She also won Silver at the 2016 Ironman 70.3 World Championships. In April 2018, Hauschildt set a new Ironman brand record of 8:31:05, at the Ironman North American Championships, breaking the previous record of 8:33:56 set by Chrissie Wellington in 2011. During Hauschildt's athletic career she has won 12 Australian Championship titles ranging in distance from 3000m on the track to the full Ironman distance in triathlon, she has set multiple National and World records in running and triathlon. Steve Hauschildt
Steve Hauschildt (born October 24, 1984) is an American electronic musician based in Chicago. He was a member of the band Emeralds and has been releasing solo material since the mid-2000s. Career While performing and recording as a trio, all members of Emeralds released solo material. Hauschildt released two albums under his own name in this period, ''The Summit'' and ''Critique of the Beautiful''. After the folding of Emeralds in 2013, Hauschildt's first widely distributed release arrived in 2011, when Kranky released his full-length ''Tragedy & Geometry''. The album features heavy use of the Prophet '08 synthesizer, and is influenced by 1970s-era Kosmische musik. Its title is taken from the subjects governed by two of the Greek muses, Melpomene and Polyhymnia. In 2012 a second album ''Sequitur'' was released, followed by the collection of outtakes and demos ''S/H'' on Editions Mego a year later. Bodil Hauschildt
Bodil Hauschildt (1861–1951) was an early Danish photographer who ran her own studio in Ribe from 1880. In addition to her portraits, she is remembered for her many photographs of the city and its surroundings. Early life Born on 9 October 1861 in Ribe, Hauschildt was the daughter of a local grocer, Jess Møler Hauschildt, who died when only 29. Thereafter she spent her infancy with her mother Karen (née Rasmussen) and her two sisters at Dronning Louises Børneasyl, a home for widowed mothers on Puggaardsgade. On completing her schooling at Miss Guldberg's school in Ribe, she worked as an au pair, first in the vicarage of Fårup near Randers, then with a family in Kolding. Career Always interested in drawing and painting, Hauschildt served an apprenticeship with the Ribe photographer Mathilde Bruun who introduced her to the business.
