Hatred (2012 Film)
Hatred (in Persian: بغض; transliterated: boqz) is a 2012 Iranian drama film directed by Reza Dormishian. It is set in Istanbul, Turkey and deals with Iranian youth immigration. Plot Jaleh and Hamid are two youngsters from the third generation of Iranian immigrants in Turkey. Their families came to Turkey to have a peaceful life. Two parallel narrations from two different periods of the young characters' lives are presented. One narration is about their first days of meeting and happiness. The other is about the eight crucial hours when they commit a robbery so they can use the money to start a happy life somewhere else. However, as often happens in such cases, they are led in a different direction. Reza Mirkarimi ( fa, رضا میرکریمی; born 27 January 1967) is an Iranian screenwriter and film director. He was also Secretary of the International Film Festival of the Fajr Film Festival. Career He graduated from Fine Arts University in graphic arts in Tehran. His cinema activities started from 1987 with a short film named ''For Him'' (16mm camera) and with a series of shorts followed by two TV series aimed at young people. Warsaw Film Festival ( pl, Warszawski Festiwal Filmowy, abbreviated as WFF) is an annual film festival held every October in Warsaw, Poland which previews new films of all genres, including documentaries from all around the world. The International Film Festival of the Art of Cinematography Camerimage () is a festival dedicated to the celebration of cinematography and recognition of its creators, cinematographers. The first seven events (1993–1999) were held in Toruń, Poland. The next ten events (2000–2009) were held in Łódź. From 2010 until 2018 the festival took place in Bydgoszcz, before returning to Toruń in 2019, where it currently remains.
