Hatikva Quarter
Hatikva Quarter ( he, שכונת התקווה, ''Shkhunat Hatikva'') is a working class neighbourhood in southeastern Tel Aviv, Israel. History The quarter was founded in 1935, named for " Mount Hope" ("Har HaTikva" in Hebrew), a farm built in 1853 by Protestant Prussian and American Protestants and abandoned. Johann Steinbeck was the grandfather of John Steinbeck and abandoned the colony in 1858 after Arab attackers killed his brother and raped his brother's wife and mother-in-law. It became part of the Tel Aviv municipal area after the 1948 Arab–Israeli War. Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv football club played at the Hatikva Neighborhood Stadium until moving to Bloomfield Stadium. The headquarters of the Israeli Labor Party is located there. Goel Ratzon
Goel Ratzon (, born 19 September 1950) is an Israelis, Israeli polygamist who led a cult in Hatikva Quarter in south Tel Aviv. As the cult leader, Ratzon had 21 wives, who bore him 49 children. In September 2014, Judiciary of Israel, Tel Aviv-Yafo District Court convicted Ratzon of rape, fraud and other offences against his wives and daughters. He was sentenced to 30 years' imprisonment. Early life Ratzon was born in Hatikva Quarter to parents who immigrated to Israel (Aliyah) from Yemen. He had a number of Temporary work, odd jobs, such as a renovation working and vehicle mechanic. In 1972 he married a woman with whom he had five children. At the beginning of the 1980s, he met another woman with whom he had five more children. Tomer Capone (also Kapon or Kappon or Capon, he, תומר קאפון; born July 15, 1985) is an Israeli actor. He has starred in popular Israeli exported television such as ''Hostages'' and the political thriller television series ''Fauda''. Shevah Mofet
Shevah Mofet ( he, שבח מופת; russian: Шевах-Мофет), also transliterated Shevach Moffet, is a junior and high school on HaMasger Street in Tel Aviv, Israel. It was established in 1946 as a vocational school. Since the 1990s, new programs were inaugurated to meet the needs of the Russian immigrant population in Israel. History The school was originally called Shevah, named after a British World War II pilot, who was the uncle of one of the founders of the school. Founded in 1945, it was the second Hebrew high school in Tel Aviv, after Gymnasia Herzliya. It was founded on the ruins of the Mount Hope farm, founded by Clorinda S. Minor and others.
