Hatice Sultan ( ota, خدیجه سلطان, "''respectful lady''"; 5 April 1870 – 13 March 1938) was an Ottoman princess, the eldest daughter of Sultan Murad V and his third wife Şayan Kadın. Early life Hatice Sultan was born on 5 April 1870 her father's villa in Kurbağalıdere. Her father was Murad V, son of Abdulmejid I and Şevkefza Kadın, and her mother was Şayan Kadın. She was the third child, and eldest daughter of her father and the only child of her mother. At her conception, Pertevniyal Sultan, mother and Valide Sultan of Sultan Abdülaziz, ordered Şayan to have an abortion, because it was forbidden for the Ottoman princes at the time to have children before ascending the throne. However, Murad had already had two sons thanks to Abdülaziz's favour. This time Pertevniyal Sultan insisted that the rules be respected. Hatice Sultan ( ota, خدیجه سلطان; "''respecful lady''"; 14 June 1768 – 17 July 1822) was an Ottoman princess, the daughter of Sultan Mustafa III and his consort Adilşah Kadın. She was the half sister of Sultan Selim III. Early life Hatice Sultan was born on 14 June 1768 in the Topkapı Palace. Her father was Sultan Mustafa III, and her mother was Adilşah Kadın. She had a full sister named Beyhan Sultan, two years elder than her. The two sisters were particularly close thought all their lives. After her father's death in 1774, when she was six years old, she followed her mother and sister to the Old Palace. Due to the isolated environment, both Hatice and her sister developed symptoms of depression, anxiety, and other troubling behaviors. Hatice Kumbaraci Gürsöz (born 1945) is a Turkish painter. Early life and education Hatice Kumbaraci was born in Adana, Turkey. After finishing her primary and secondary education, she attended Istanbul State Fine Arts Academy in 1964. She was taught by Dinçer Erimez, and worked in the Studio of Neşet Günal. In 1969, she graduated from the Higher Painting Department. After graduation,y she was further educated in the field of ceramics by working in the Studio of Sadi Diren for two years. Hatice Sultan ( ota, خدیجه سلطان; ''respectful lady''; Trabzon, c.1490/93 - Costantinople, after 1543) was an Ottoman princess, daughter of Sultan Selim I and Hafsa Sultan. She was the sister of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent. Biography Hatice's birth date is unknown, but she had to be born before 1494. She was the daughter of Şehzade Selim (the future Selim I) and his concubine Hafsa. She married Damat Iskender Pasha in 1509, an Ottoman governor and later admiral who was executed in 1515. It had long been believed that Hatice Sultan subsequently married the Grand Vizier Pargalı Ibrahim Pasha. However, in the late 2000s research conducted by the historian Ebru Turan revealed that this claim was not based on solid evidence, and that in fact no such marriage ever took place between them. Hatice Bahar Özgüvenç (born 10 June 1984) is a Turkish female football manager and former women's football player. She coaches Fatih Karagümrük. She was a member of the Turkish national team. Hatice Özgener (1865 – February 21, 1940) was a Turkish school teacher, politician and one of the first 18 female members of the Turkish parliament. Hatice Kübra Yangın (born August 15, 1989 in Kütahya) is a Turkish female taekwondo practitioner competing in the bantamweight division. She is a member of the Kocaeli BB Kağıt S.K. in Izmit.
