Hassanine Sebei
Hassanine Sebei, ar, حسنين السباعي, (born 21 January 1984 in Tajerouine) is a Tunisian racewalker who specialises in the 20 kilometres race walk. He was the 2010 African champion and competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics and 2012 Summer Olympics. He won the silver medal at the 2004 African Championships in Athletics. The following year he took gold medals at the 2005 Islamic Solidarity Games and the Pan Arab Championships, as well as bronze medals at both the Jeux de la Francophonie and the African Race Walking Championships. He made his debut in the IAAF World Race Walking Cup the following year and finished 57th overall. He missed out on the medals at the 2006 African Championships in Athletics, taking fourth place in the event. Sebei took part in the 2007 World Championships in Athletics and came in 24th place, the second best African performer. 20 Kilometres Race Walk
The 20 kilometre race walk is an Olympic Games, Olympic athletics (sport), athletics event that is competed by both men and women. The racewalking event is competed as a road race. Athletes must always keep in contact with the ground and the supporting leg must remain straight until the raised leg passes it. At the 2007 Pan Arab Games, the athletics events were held at the Military Academy Stadium in Cairo, Egypt from 21 to 24 November. A total of 46 events were contested, of which 23 by male and 23 by female athletes. Morocco was the most successful nation in the competition, taking ten gold medals in a 23-medal haul. Hatem Ghoula ( ar, حاتم غولة; born 7 June 1973 in Paris, France) is a Tunisian race walker. He won four consecutive African Championships in the 20 kilometres walk from 1996 to 2002. His foremost medal was a 20 km walk bronze at the 2007 World Championships in Athletics. He is also a two-time gold medallist at the All-African Games, having won in 2003 and 2007 (the latter in a Games record time). He has represented Tunisia at four Olympic Games (1996 to 2008), with his best performance of eleventh place coming in 2004. He competed at the IAAF World Championships in Athletics for eight straight editions from 1993 to 2007 and made his ninth appearance at the 2013 World Championships in Athletics.
