Hassan Pakandam
Hassan Pakandam ( fa, حسن پاک اندام; May 19, 1934 in Tehran – July 16, 2013 in Tehran) was a member of Iran senior national Boxing team from 1955, continuously until 1965, and a member of Tehran Taj ( fa, تاج تهران) Boxing Club from 1950 to 1965, boxing in the 60, 63.5, and 67 kg divisions. He was a well-built, skilled, swift, and intelligent all-around boxer. His recognized punch was a powerful cross. Józef Grudzień
Józef Grudzień (1 April 1939 – 17 June 2017) was a Polish boxer. Grudzień was born 1 April 1939 in Piasek Wielki, Poland, which is near Busko-Zdrój. He won two medals at the Olympic Games: gold in the Lightweight division at Tokyo in 1964 and silver at Mexico City in 1968. He also twice won medals at the European Amateur Boxing Championships, silver at East Berlin in 1965 and gold at Rome in 1967. Behesht-e Zahra
Behesht-e Zahra ( fa, بهشت زهرا, lit. ''The Paradise of Zahra'', from Fatima az-Zahra) is the largest cemetery in Iran. Located in the southern part of metropolitan Tehran, it is connected to the city by Tehran Metro Line 1. History In the early 1950s, all the cemeteries in Tehran were supposed to be replaced by several large new ones outside the then precincts of the capital. Behesht-e Zahra was built in late 1960s on the southern side of Tehran towards the direction of the city of Qom and opened on 29 June 1970 by mayor of Tehran, Gholamreza Nikpey. It was named by Ayatollah Ahmad Khonsari. The first person buried in Behesht-e Zahra was Mohammad-Taghi Khial on 25 July 1970. Many of the deceased soldiers of the Iran–Iraq War were buried in the martyr's section of the graveyard. Shahid Shiroudi Stadium
The Shahid Shiroudi Stadium () formerly known as Amjadiyeh Stadium is a sports stadium in Tehran, Iran. It is currently used for athletics and held football matches until 2009. The stadium is able to seat 30,000 people and was opened in 1942. It was called Amjadieh Stadium () until the Iranian Revolution. In September 2015 it was announced the stadium and the complex would undergo a massive renovation. History The stadium is one of the oldest sports stadiums in Iran. Petros Nazarbegian ( hy, Պետրոս Նազարբեգեան; fa, پطروس نظربگیان May 6, 1927 – November 13, 2015) was an Iranian amateur boxer of Armenian ethnicity who competed in the lightweight division at the 1952 Summer Olympics as a member of the Iran senior national Boxing team.
