Hasan Raheem
Hasan Raheem (born August 2, 1998) is a Pakistani singer, songwriter and rapper. He is known for his subtle, laid-back R&B, hip hop and indie pop styles of music. Early life and education Raheem was born in 1998. He belongs to a Shina family hailing from Gilgit, located in northern Pakistan's Gilgit-Baltistan region. He is the eldest of four siblings, born to a father who served in the Pakistan Army and a mother who is a housewife. Raheem describes himself as a "rebel" child while growing up, who had a taste for music. His first ever on-stage performance was in his fifth grade of school, when he performed a popular dance track by British-Indian musical group RDB. Raheem moved to Karachi to pursue a career in medicine, graduating from the Bahria University Medical and Dental College. Gilgit
Gilgit (; Shina: ; ur, ) is the capital city of Gilgit–Baltistan, Pakistan. The city is located in a broad valley near the confluence of the Gilgit River and the Hunza River. RDB (band)
RDB (an acronym for Rhythm, Dhol, Bass) is a band initially formed in 1997 by three British Indian brothers, Kuldeep, Surjeet and Manjeet Singh Ral. The band's style blends western genres with traditional Punjabi beats and vocals. After the death of the eldest brother Kuldeep in 2012 and the departure of Manjeet to start a solo career, RDB has continued with the brother Surjeet. History RDB's musical journey began with singing at the gurdwara: "We used to assist our father in performing in front of the community at our local gurdwara, playing the harmonium and the tabla. This gave us a great understanding of our musical creativity and we mixed this with our passion for technology and started experimenting with sounds." Karakoram ( ur, ) is a Pakistani alternative rock band. The band consists of Sherry Khattak as the lead vocalist and guitarist, Omair Farooq as bassist, Bilawal Lahooti as drummer, and Zain Peerzada and Annan Noukhez as guitarists. The Patari are a community found mainly in the Sonbhadra district of Uttar Pradesh, India. History and origin There are various theories as to the origin of the Patari tribe. According to the tribe itself, the Patari are by origin Gond tribals, who were ritual specialists and advisers to the Gond kings. They belong to the Devgond sub-division. Other sources, such as William Crooke claim that the Patari are actually of Majhwar origin, and descend from seven brothers, of which their ancestor Patari was responsible for the rituals and traditions of the other six Majhwar clans. Pakistani hip hop is a music genre in Pakistan influenced heavily from merging American hip hop style beats with Pakistani poetry.
