Harvinder "Harry" Anand is the former Mayor of Laurel Hollow, New York; he was elected on June 19, 2007. He is the first elected Indian-American mayor in the state of New York. Harvinder Mankkar (born 27 April 1964) is an Indian cartoonist, illustrator, script-writer and film director. He is well known for his comic series characters Motu Patlu published in Lot Pot magazine. Its 3D animated television series adaptation is airing on Nickelodeon. He has illustrated almost 22,000 pocket cartoons, comic strips, educational books and story books. He is founder and CEO of The Art Studio company. Harvinder Sahota (born 15 April 1941) is an Indian American cardiologist. He is the inventor of the FDA approved Perfusion Balloon Angioplasty known as "Sahota Perfusion Balloon". Sahota holds two dozen patents for other medical inventions including Red Laser Light for prevention of Restenosis, Multi-Lobe Balloon, Fibrin coated Stent, Hemostat to stop bleeding from ruptured artery during the procedure. He holds license to promote a drug-coated stent. He performed the first coronary Angioplasty in many hospitals around the world including India, Mexico, Russia, Ukraine and the United States.
