Harvey High School (New Brunswick)
Harvey High School is a grades 6-12 school located in Harvey, New Brunswick. Harvey High School is in the Anglophone West School District. The current principal is Jeremy Maclver. History Before 1946, high-school level students in the area attended McAdam High School. Harvey Regional High School was opened in January 1947, accommodating students from grades 7–11. Eventually, the school was renamed to Harvey High School. New Brunswick Route 3
Route 3 is 92 kilometres long and goes from Route 170 in St. Stephen to Route 2 (the Trans-Canada Highway) at Longs Creek, near Fredericton. From St. Stephen, Route 3 goes north along the west bank of Dennis Stream, through the community of Moores Mills. The road turns northeast through Lawrence Station and mostly uninhabited land to meet Route 4 near York Mills. From there, Route 3 continues in a northeasterly direction through Harvey Station, then turns north to the Trans-Canada Highway at Longs Creek. There have been no major changes or realignments to Route 3 since the 1950s. Harvey is a formerly incorporated village in York County, New Brunswick, York County, in the Provinces and territories of Canada, Canadian province of New Brunswick. It is often called Harvey Station. Situated at the southeastern end of Harvey Lake, the village is approximately 35 km southwest of Fredericton, New Brunswick, Fredericton. The lake was originally known as Bear Lake, then for a time as Big Cranberry Lake, and finally after 1869, as Harvey Lake, when the community that eventually would become Harvey Station was established at the intersection of the "Great Road" and the newly built railway line (see below). McAdam High School
McAdam High School is a grades 6–12 school located in southwestern McAdam, New Brunswick. It was founded in 1924, and 1984, a more modern building was constructed. McAdam High is known for its cooperative education program. The town, and its high school, are named for late-19th-century politician John McAdam.
