Haruma Saikyo
Haruma Saikyo is a Japanese kickboxer, fighting out of Tokyo, Japan. He is the former Krush Featherweight champion. As of 1 August 2020, he is ranked the #9 strawweight in the world by Combat Press. Kickboxing career After going 2-1 in his first three fights, Saikyo went on an eight fight winning streak, most notably defeating Yoshiki Takei and Taio Asahisa. His winning streak earned him the chance to challenge Kaito Ozawa for the Krush Featherweight title during Krush 81. He won the title by unanimous decision. He lost his next fight against Tatsuya Tsubakihara by majority decision, before successfully defending his Krush title with an extra round split decision against Yuta Murakoshi. Haruma took part in the 2018 Featherweight Grand Prix. In the quarter final, he won a close split decision against Hirotaka Asahisa. Krush (kickboxing)
Krush is a martial arts entertainment planning and promotion brand established in 2008, currently based in Japan. It is the sister brand of K-1, and has produced numerous future K-1 competitors, such as Takeru Segawa, Tatsuya Tsubakihara and Yuki Egawa. It features events across ten male and three female weight classes. Current Krush champions History Krush was launched in 2008, prior to the death of K-1 FEG, as a collaboration between K-1 and All Japan Kickboxing Federation. It was launched as a feeder organization to K-1, and was accordingly seen as the second tier of K-1 competition. On June 22, 2009, organization representative Toshio Kaneda was arrested, alongside seven other members of the executive committee. Following their arrests, the AJKF was dissolved. Yuto Shinohara
is a Japanese kickboxer, currently competing in the lightweight division of K-1. A professional competitor since 2014, he is the former Krush Super Lightweight champion and a one-time Krush Lightweight title challenger. As of January 2023, he is the #9 ranked featherweight kickboxer in the world according to Beyond Kick. Ryusei Ashizawa is a Japanese kickboxer. Between April and July 2022, he was ranked the tenth best bantamweight in the world by Combat Press.
