Harry Todd (golfer)
Harry Lorenzo Todd (November 6, 1916 – October 9, 1966) was an American professional golfer. Todd was born in Dallas, Texas. As an amateur, he won the 1939 Western Amateur and finished runner-up to Bud Ward in 1941. He turned professional in 1944. Todd made his living primarily as a club professional, but did play on the PGA Tour after World War II. He won once, at the 1946 Orlando Open. Also in 1946, he finish one stroke behind Ben Hogan in the inaugural Colonial National Invitation. He led the 1948 Masters Tournament after 36 holes but would finish in a tied for eighth place. Donald Ray January (born November 20, 1929) is an American retired professional golfer, best known for winning the 1967 PGA Championship. Early life Born in Plainview, Texas, January graduated from Sunset High School in Dallas. He was a member of the North Texas State golf team that won four consecutive NCAA Division I titles from 1949 to 1952. January is a Member of the Sunset High School Hall of Fame. While in college as a sophomore, as part of his scholarship, January helped teach a beginning golf class, where he met his future wife, Patricia "Pat" Rushing. They both graduated in 1953 and eloped to Ardmore, Oklahoma. They lived in San Antonio while Don was in the Air Force, and began their family—two boys and a girl. ''The Daily Record'' is an American daily newspaper published in Ellensburg, Washington. The ''Record'' is published four days a week with an afternoon edition each Tuesday through Thursday and a weekend edition is delivered on Saturday mornings. The paper's current estimated circulation is 6,000 copies per day. This newspaper is a successor to the ''Kittitas County Localizer'', first published on July 12, 1883. John Cornelius Palmer (July 3, 1918 – September 14, 2006) was an American professional golfer.
