Harry Standjofsky
Harry Standjofski (born May 22, 1959) is a Canadian actor as well as a theater director and playwright. He has appeared in films such as '' Guy X'', '' The Aviator'', ''Protection'', '' X-Men: Days of Future Past'' and '' Hidden Agenda'' and has voiced characters in video games such as '' Assassin's Creed'', '' Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones'', '' Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory'', and ''Splinter Cell''. His plays ''Anton'' and ''No Cycle'' can be found in his book ''Urban Myths'' published by NuAge Editions. ''The Sleep Room'' is a 1998 Canadian television movie about experiments on Canadian mental patients that were carried out in the 1950s and 1960s by Donald Ewen Cameron and funded by the CIA's MKUltra program. ''Love and Human Remains'' is a 1993 Canadian film directed by Denys Arcand and based on Brad Fraser's stage play ''Unidentified Human Remains and the True Nature of Love''. Fraser also wrote the screenplay for the film adaptation. The film version follows the storyline of the original play fairly closely: a gay man and his heterosexual, female roommate try (who sexually experiments by having sex with a lesbian) to find love and sexual gratification in Edmonton, as a serial killer is loose in the city. While the film was shot on location in Montreal, Quebec, the original stage play and the screenplay are both set in Edmonton, Alberta.
