Harry Kenny
Harry Kenny (born 13 April 1962) is an Irish footballer who last managed at St Patrick's Athletic before resigning in August 2019. During his playing career he spent 13 seasons playing for Shamrock Rovers. Harry, or 'H' as his friends nicknamed him, came to Milltown in September 1978, one year after Johnny Giles had been appointed player/manager. He was a number of full-time players who Giles signed up as part of the policy to develop a full-time professional set up at Milltown. Other players who were involved in the scheme at the time were Pierce O'Leary, Alan Campbell and Ritchie Bayly. Harry made his Rovers debut on 20 December 1978 in a Leinster Senior Cup quarter final win against Dunleary Celtic at Tolka Park. Dublin
Dublin (; , or ) is the capital and largest city of Ireland. Gianluca Vialli
Gianluca Vialli (; born 9 July 1964) is an Italian former football manager and player who played as a striker. Since retiring, he has gone into management, punditry and worked previously as a commentator for Sky Sport Italia. He is currently part of the Italian national team non-playing staff as a delegation chief, he stepped down from this role due to his ongoing battle with cancer. Vialli started his club career at Cremonese in 1980 in his native Italy where he made 105 league appearances scoring 23 goals. His performances impressed Sampdoria who signed him in 1984, during which time he scored 85 league goals, won 3 Italian cups, the Serie A and the European Cup Winners Cup. Athletic Union League (Dublin)
The Athletic Union League is an association football league featuring junior and amateur teams mainly from Northside, Dublin. The AUL currently operates thirteen divisions. Its senior division is known as the Premier A. Teams from the AUL also compete in the FAI Cup, the FAI Junior Cup and the Leinster Senior Cup. Kinvara or Kinvarra () is a sea port village in the southwest of County Galway, Ireland. It is located in the civil parish of Kinvarradoorus in the north of the barony of Kiltartan. Marc Kenny
Marc Kenny (born 17 September 1973) is an Irish former footballer. Kenny was captain of the Home Farm schoolboys team that got into the Guinness Book of Records for going six seasons without a defeat. A Republic of Ireland national under-17 football team international after three seasons at Liverpool he came home to play three seasons in the IFA Premiership with Bangor F.C. and Glenavon F.C. He made his League of Ireland debut for Shamrock Rovers at Finn Harps on 12 October 1996. A week later he scored on his full debut against Bohs in a 3-2 victory in Tolka Park. He scored a memorable free kick against Glasgow Celtic in July 1998. Kenny left Rovers before the 2005 League of Ireland season. The 1988 UEFA European Football Championship final tournament was held in West Germany from 10 to 25 June 1988. It was the eighth UEFA European Championship, which is held every four years and supported by UEFA. The tournament crowned the Netherlands as European champions for the first time. Vancouver Whitecaps Football Club is a Canadian professional soccer team based in Vancouver. They compete in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member club of the league's Western Conference. Dalymount Park (Irish: ''Páirc Cnocán Uí Dhálaigh'') is a football stadium in Phibsborough on the Northside of Dublin, Ireland. It is the home of Bohemian F.C., who have played there since the early 20th century. Affectionately known as Dalyer by fans, it was also historically the "home of Irish football", holding many Irish internationals and FAI Cup finals. The Football Association of Ireland Senior Challenge Cup (FAI Cup), known as the Extra.ie FAI Cup for sponsorship reasons, is a knock-out association football competition contested annually by teams from the Republic of Ireland (as well as Derry City from Northern Ireland).
