Steamboat Johnson
Harry Samuel "Steamboat" Johnson (March 26, 1880 – February 20, 1951) was a professional baseball umpire. Johnson, born in Pennsylvania in 1880, was a long-time umpire in the minor leagues — including the Western League, Three-I League, and Southern Association — who also umpired 66 games in the National League in 1914. He issued 11 ejections during that season, including New York Giants manager John McGraw twice in two days at the end of July. Johnson's nickname came from a reporter for '' The Atlanta Georgian'', who wrote, "None of us know where John D. Martin (president of the Southern Association) got this Umpire Johnson, but he has a voice like a Mississippi River steamboat. From now he is ‘Steamboat’ Johnson to Atlantans." Harry McClure Johnson
Harry McClure Johnson (May 13, 1886 – March 29, 1932) was a Chicago lawyer and member of the firm of Offend, Bulkley, Poole and Scott. He is the son of one of the oldest and most influential families of Illinois. He was the official journal chronicler in the 1st ever expedition to the top of Crown Mountain (Vancouver Island), Crown Mountain which brought about the genesis of British Columbia's provincial park system in July 1910. Early life Johnson was born on May 13, 1886, in Peoria, Illinois. His father, Albert Tilford Johnson was the founder and president of the principal banking house of Peoria, Illinois. Harry Zephaniah Johnson (6 July 1945 – 3 April 2013), known by the stage name Harry J, was a Jamaican reggae record producer. Harry Gordon Johnson, (26 May 1923 – 9 May 1977) was a Canadian economist who studied topics such as international trade and international finance. Nobel laureate James Tobin said about him: "For the economics profession throughout the world, the third quarter of this century was an Age of Johnson. ... It was his impact on his own profession ... that justifies calling the era his Age." Appointed professor of economics at Manchester University in 1956, he left upon being appointed Professor of Economics at the University of Chicago from 1959 (and from 1969, the Charles F. Harry Johnson was an American bartender who owned and operated saloons across the US in the late 19th century and the early 20th century. He is best known for the ''New and Improved Bartenders' Manual'', an influential book that contained many original cocktail recipes, as well as the first written recipes of such cocktails as the marguerite and a version of the martini. Perhaps even more importantly, it was the first book to offer bar management instructions. Johnson opened the first ever consulting agency for bar management. ''Imbibe'' magazine has called him one of the most influential cocktail personalities of the last 100 years, and he has been called "the father of professional bartending". Henry John Johnson, usually known as Harry (10 April 1826 — 31 December 1884) was an English landscape and water colour painter. Life Johnson was born in Birmingham, where he studied under Samuel Lines. He was then in London as a studio pupil of William James Müller. With Müller he made an extended visit in 1843 to Lycia, where Charles Fellows was carrying out an excavation. The watercolours of Turkey that Müller painted during this period were an important influence on him. Johnson travelled in southern Europe, northern Africa and Asia Minor. He painted oil - and watercolour pictures (ruins of Sardis, the Acropolis in Athens, Temple of Athena in Aegina).
