Henry Hopetoun Harrison (1 January 1901 – 7 March 1972) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Essendon and Footscray in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Walhalla is a town in Victoria, Australia, founded as a gold-mining community in late 1862, and at its peak, home to around 4,000 residents. Australian football, also called Australian rules football or Aussie rules, or more simply football or footy, is a contact sport played between two teams of 18 players on an oval field, often a modified cricket ground. The Essendon Football Club, nicknamed the Bombers, is a professional Australian rules football club. The club plays in the Australian Football League (AFL), the game's premier competition. Western Bulldogs
The Western Bulldogs are a professional Australian rules football team that competes in the Australian Football League (AFL), the sport's premier competition. Founded in 1877 as the Footscray Football Club, and based in West Footscray in the old City of Footscray west of Melbourne, the club won nine premierships in the Victorian Football Association (VFA) before gaining admission to the Victorian Football League (which became the AFL in 1990) in 1925. Joe Harrison (footballer, Born January 1903)
Joseph Ernest Harrison (6 January 1903 – 16 September 1977) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Essendon in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Family His brother, Henry Hopetoun "Harry" Harrison (1901–1972) also played VFL football. Football Harrison was a member of a premiership side in his debut season with Essendon, playing at half back in the club's 1923 Grand Final win. He went on to play 64 games for Essendon, winning their Best and Fairest award in 1926. Camberwell Football Club was an Australian rules football club which formed around the mid-1880s, with a published match in 1886 and competed in the Victorian Football Association (VFA) between 1926 and 1990. Nicknamed the Cobras, Camberwell wore blue, white and red club colours. They were based in the Melbourne suburb of Camberwell.
