Harry Godfrey
Harry Godfrey (born 3 January 2003) is a New Zealand rugby union player, who currently plays as a first five-eighth or fullback for in New Zealand's domestic National Provincial Championship competition and the in Super Rugby. Early career Godfrey was born and raised in Hunterville in the Manawatū-Whanganui region in the lower half of New Zealand's North Island. He attended Whanganui Collegiate School and played both rugby and cricket for the school. In 2019, he played for the school's 1st XV team that finished second in the Central North Island competition. The following year, he captained the team to a third place in that competition. He also played rugby sevens for his school, including at the 2020 Secondary School Sevens, of which he made the Tournament Team. Godfrey represented Whanganui at age grade level. – via Facebook. Hunterville
Hunterville is a small community on State Highway 1, in the Rangitikei district of the North Island of New Zealand. It is located halfway between Taupo and Wellington and has a population (2018 census) of 411, a decrease of 18 people from 2013. The township was named for George Hunter, who was a member of the Wellington Provincial Council. It straddles the state highway as well as the main trunk railway in the foothills forming the gateway to the Central Plateau. 2021 Bunnings NPC
The 2021 Bunnings NPC season was the sixteenth season of New Zealand's provincial rugby union competition since it turned professional in 2006. The regular season began on August 6, when Manawatu hosted Counties Manukau. It involved the top fourteen rugby unions of New Zealand. For sponsorship reasons, the competition was known as the Bunnings NPC and it was the first season under the lead sponsor and to carry the NPC moniker since 2005. The 2022 Oceania Rugby Under 20 Championship was the sixth edition of the Oceania Rugby Under 20 Championship. The Cook Islands is a third tier rugby union playing nation. They began playing international rugby in early 1971. Thus far, the Cook Islands have not made an appearance at any of the World Cups. History In 1924 a scratch team of Rarotongan boys, including the late Sir Albert Henry, played the All Black Invincibles on their way to the United Kingdom. The game was drawn 0–0. The Cook Islands played their first official international on September 1, 1971 against Western Samoa, losing 24 points to 18. The World Rugby Under 20 Championship (known as the IRB Junior World Championship until 2014) is an international rugby union competition. The event is organised by the sport's governing body, World Rugby, and is contested by 12 men's junior national teams with an under-20 age requirement.
