Harry David Watson
Major-General Sir Harry Davis Watson, (18 July 1866 – 7 May 1945) was a British Army officer. He was the son of General Sir John Watson.The Times, Obituary, 8 May 1945 Watson served as Chief Administrator of Palestine in 1919, after his predecessor had been removed by London for not favoring the Zionists over the Arabs; Watson was removed six months later for the same reason. Military career Watson was commissioned a lieutenant in the Dorset Regiment on 29 April 1885. He transferred to British India, and saw action in the Sikkim expedition. Promoted to captain in 1896, he served in the Imperial Service Troops of India. In 1906 he was appointed as an extra equerry to the Prince of Wales, who became George V in 1910. Lieutenant General Sir Louis Jean Bols (23 November 1867 – 13 September 1930) was a British Army General, he served as Edmund Allenby's Third Army Chief of Staff on the Western Front and Sinai and Palestine campaigns of World War I. From 1927 onto his death he served as the Governor of Bermuda. Early life Bols was born in Cape Town and educated at Lancing College in England and Bishop's College School in Canada. Military career He was commissioned a second lieutenant in the Devonshire Regiment on 5 February 1887, and was promoted to lieutenant on 22 September 1889. In 1891-92 he served in Burma, including operations in the Kachin Hills, and received the operational medal with clasp. The Occupied Enemy Territory Administration (OETA) was a joint British, French and Arab military administration over Levantine provinces of the former Ottoman Empire between 1917 and 1920, set up on 23 October 1917 following the Sinai and Palestine Campaign and Arab Revolt of World War I. Major-General Sir Arthur Wigram Money, (23 October 1866 – 25 October 1951) was a British Army officer. Money served as Chief Administrator of Palestine between June 1918 – June 1919, but was removed by London for not favoring the Zionists over the Arabs; his successor was removed six months later for the same reason.
