Harry James Burgoyne (born 28 December 1996) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for League One club Shrewsbury Town. He began his career at Wolverhampton Wanderers, where he played eight first-team matches and was loaned to several clubs. Career Early career Burgoyne was born Ludlow, Shropshire. He joined Wolverhampton Wanderers at the age of 12, having been spotted filling in as a goalkeeper for the first time for local team Ludlow Town. Following unsuccessful trials at West Bromwich Albion and Birmingham City, he signed an initial two-year deal with the club before committing to a two-year professional contract in March 2015. Ludlow
Ludlow () is a market town in Shropshire, England. The town is significant in the history of the Welsh Marches and in relation to Wales. It is located south of Shrewsbury and north of Hereford, on the A49 road which bypasses the town. The town is near the confluence of the rivers Corve and Teme. The oldest part is the medieval walled town, founded in the late 11th century after the Norman conquest of England. FA Youth Cup
The Football Association Youth Challenge Cup is an English football competition run by The Football Association for under-18 sides. Only those players between the age of 15 and 18 on 31 August of the current season are eligible to take part. It is dominated by the youth sides of professional teams, mostly from the Premier League, but attracts over 400 entrants from throughout the country. At the end of the Second World War the FA organised a Youth Championship for County Associations considering it the best way to stimulate the game among those youngsters not yet old enough to play senior football. Vickers was on the books of Arsenal and Swansea City without playing first-team football for either, and made his Football League debut while on loan at Barnet. Career Stephens started his career in the youth set up at Forest Green Rovers but moved to Swindon Town where his impressive showings brought him to the attention of Liverpool who signed him up for their academy in April 2010. Wolverhampton Wanderers Development Squad And Academy
Wolverhampton Wanderers Under-23s (or the Development squad) is a football team that competes in Division 2 of the newly created Premier League 2. The club qualify as an entrant in the competition, by virtue of their academy holding Category 1 status. Although the league is designed for players aged 23 and below, three overage players may also feature. The team is currently under the management of Jamie Collins and home games are primarily staged at Kidderminster Harriers' Aggborough home, though the team also plays games at Molineux.
