The Harrison High School is a public high school serving ninth through twelve grade students in Harrison, Arkansas, United States. The Old Harrison High School was built in 1912 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007. It was designed by architects Harry C. Schwebke and R.D. Pollard in Prairie School and International Style architecture. The building served as the high school until 1952 before becoming the junior high through 1987. Soon thereafter, the site continues to serve the community as the Boone County Heritage Museum operated by the Boone County Historical and Railroad Society. Academics Harrison High School provides a comprehensive education for students in grades nine through twelve, which is accredited by AdvancED and the Arkansas Department of Education (ADE). Harrison is a census-designated place (CDP) in Madison County, Montana, United States. The population was 137 at the 2010 census, down from 162 in 2000. The town began as Ferguson, a stage stop on the road to Virginia City. The Northern Pacific Railroad constructed a branch line in 1889. Bethany, Missouri
Bethany is a city in, and the county seat of, Harrison County, Missouri, United States, approximately midway between Kansas City and Des Moines on Interstate 35. The population was 2,915 at the 2020 census. History The settlement of Harrison County began ''circa'' 1838, although the land was not surveyed and opened for entry until 1842. The county is named after Albert C. Harrison, a 19th-century Missouri political figure. Many of the early settlers to the area homesteaded along Sugar Creek and in the Bethany area. Three commissioners deliberated for several days to determine a site for the county seat, and voted to site it in the southern part of the county. The original name of the community was Dallas. South Harrison High School (Missouri)
General History In 1965, Lost Creek High School and West Milford's Unidis High School were consolidated to create South Harrison High School. This new school was a grade 7-12 facility. In the summer of 1996, the Harrison County Board members officially separated South Harrison High School and South Harrison Middle School into two facilities.
