The Harrisburg Heat is an American professional indoor soccer, indoor soccer team based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The team is a part of the Major Arena Soccer League. The Heat's home venue is New Holland Arena at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center. The Harrisburg Heat claim the heritage of an original Harrisburg Heat (1991–2003), Harrisburg Heat franchise that was a member of the National Professional Soccer League II, National Professional Soccer League, which later became the Major Indoor Soccer League (2001–2008), Major Indoor Soccer League. On May 2, 2012, the Heat were awarded a PASL expansion franchise to begin with the 2012–13 Harrisburg Heat season, 2012–13 season. Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center, formerly known as State Farm Show Arena, is a large exhibition center and indoor arena in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. It is primarily used for concerts, agricultural exhibitions, the Pennsylvania Farm Show, and indoor football. The complex also hosts more than 200 other exhibits and trade shows every year. David Anthony Mellor is an English footballer who plays for the Harrisburg Heat in the Major Arena Soccer League. Career Oldham Athletic Mellor joined Oldham Athletic as sixteen-year-old from Manchester United. However, Mellor suffered a knee injury, but was given a full-time two-year scholarships, having initially joined the club on a non-contract basis. After spending time in Oldham's youth team he made his competitive debut during the second match of the 2011–12 season, as a substitute in a Football League Cup match against Carlisle United. He scored sixteen minutes into his Football League debut on 16 August in a match against Scunthorpe.
