Harri Jenkins
Harri Jenkins (born 28 March 1996) is a British Paralympic athlete who competes in sprint and middle-distance events in the T33 classification. Personal history Jenkins was born in Neath, and resides in Bryncoch. Athletics career Jenkins became involved in Para sport through Disability Sport Wales. Jenkins tried several sports through the Insport Series, before settling on wheelchair racing and wheelchair basketball. In his younger years competing in wheelchair basketball he moved to sprint racing and had great success. T33 (classification)
T33 and CP3 are disability sport classification for disability athletics. The class competes using a wheelchair. The classification is one of eight for people with cerebral palsy, and one of four for people with cerebral palsy who use a wheelchair. Athletes in this class have moderate quadriplegia, and difficulty with forward trunk movement. They also may have hypertonia, ataxia and athetosis. Definition This classification is for disability athletics. This classification is one of eight classifications for athletes with cerebral palsy, four for wheelchair athletes ( T31, T32, T33, T34) and four for ambulant ones ( T35, T36, T37 and T38). Bryncoch
Bryncoch is a village near Neath in Neath Port Talbot County Borough, Wales. The name derives from the Welsh 'red hill' (''bryn'' is hill, ''coch'' is red), originally the name of a nearby farm. Bryncoch is divided into two wards: Bryncoch North and Bryncoch South, and is in the community of Blaenhonddan. The area is not regarded as hugely affluent, but is one of the generally better off areas in the deprived county borough of Neath Port Talbot Historically the village of Bryncoch was centred on Main Road and a few adjacent streets, but the village expanded considerably in the 1960s with the building of the Furzeland Drive and Elias Drive developments.
