Harpreet Sandhu (born 8 January 1979) is an Indian actor, director, writer, music director, editor, cinematographer and poet. His debut Punjabi film '' Work Weather Wife'' was the first ever Punjabi and only Canadian film to get shortlisted at 87th Academy Awards under Best Original Song in a feature film and Best Feature Film for its songs "Moon" and "Long Braid". Harpreet Singh Sandhu is an Indian American politician and community activist from Richmond, California and one of the most prominent ones of the Sikh religion. He was the first Asian and the first Sikh city councilman in Richmond, and one of only a few Sikhs to hold office in the United States.

The Punjab State Carrom Association (PSCA) is the Punjab, India state sport federation for the indigenous game of carrom, and is a state affiliate of the All India Carrom Federation (AICF), India's national branch of the International Carrom Federation (ICF). Harpreet Singh Giani is an Indian-born lawyer based in London, England. Biography Harpreet Singh Giani was born in India into a Punjabi Sikh family. He is the son of the lawyer Harinder Singh Giani from Chandigarh and the grandson of the Sikh scholar and calligraphist, Pratap Singh Giani. Giani completed his initial education from the DAV College, Chandigarh. He then obtained a Bachelor's degree in Law from Panjab University at Chandigarh, and was admitted to the bar in 1999.
