Clarine Harp
Clarine Harp is an American voice actress and the Director of Blu-ray, DVD, and video production at Funimation. Her performance as Hibari Ginza in the 2006-2007 release of ''Speed Grapher'' won her an ADR Award as "Actress of the Month" for October 2006 as voted by members of the websites Dub Review and Anime on DVD. Harp is also the inspiration for Aubrey Chorde, one of the main characters in the webcomic ''Something Positive'' by her friend R.K. Milholland. He claims he decided to make the comic after she told him to do "something positive" with his life. She lives and works in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex area of Texas. Everette Harp
Everette Harp (born August 17, 1961, in Houston, Texas) is an American jazz saxophonist who has recorded for Blue Note, Capitol and Shanachie Records. His album ''Jazz Funk Soul'', a collaboration with Chuck Loeb and Jeff Lorber, received his first nomination for a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album at 57th Annual Grammy Awards. Career Everette Harp was the youngest of eight children. His father was a minister and his mother played the organ. Gospel music was one of his earliest influences. He started playing jazz in middle school at Marshall Junior High under the tutelage of drummer Buddy Smith. He attended the High School for Performing and Visual Arts in Houston under the direction of Robert "Doc" Morgan", then North Texas State University as a music major in the early 1980s. Jessica Leigh Harp (born February 3, 1982) is an American songwriter and former country artist from Kansas City, Missouri. Between 2005 and 2007, Harp and Michelle Branch recorded and performed as The Wreckers, a duo that topped the country charts in 2006 with the Grammy-nominated "Leave the Pieces." After The Wreckers disbanded, Harp began a solo career on Warner Bros. Records, the same label to which The Wreckers were signed. Susana Harp Iturribarria (born April 8, 1968) is a Mexican singer of traditional music. She currently serves as a senator in the LXIV Legislature of the Mexican Congress, representing the state of Oaxaca. Biography Born in Oaxaca de Juárez, her mother is from Oaxaca and her father is Lebanese, from a very small community in Mexico. In her childhood she was a quiet girl, but always showed interest in music as she was influenced by her grandfather Jorge Fernando Iturribarria. At the age of 16 she started studying singing although she remained focused in her academic career until completing a degree in psychology. Tom Harp
Thomas Harp (born c. 1927) is a former American football player and coach. He served as the head football coach at Cornell University (1961–1965), Duke University (1967–1970), and Indiana State University (1973–1977), compiling a career college football record of 61–82–4. Playing career Harp played football as a fullback at Miami University in 1945 and then as a quarterback at Muskingum University in 1949 and 1950, where he was a member of back-to-back Ohio Athletic Conference championship squads. Coaching career Harp began his coaching career in 1951 at Carrollton High School in Carrollton, Ohio, where he compiled a record of 20–6–1 over three seasons. Toni Harp
Toni Nathaniel Harp (born August 6, 1947) is an American politician who served as the 50th Mayor of New Haven, Connecticut. Harp, a Democrat, was previously a state senator in Connecticut from 1993 to 2013. A resident of New Haven, Harp represented the western half of the city as well as part of West Haven while in the Connecticut Senate. Early life and career Harp was born in San Francisco and graduated from Roosevelt University and received a Master of Environmental Design from Yale University. Prior to becoming mayor in the City of New Haven, Harp served as a State Senator and a New Haven Alderman; she defeated incumbent Senator Charles H. Allen III for the Democratic nomination in 1992.
