Haron Keitany (born December 17, 1983) is a runner from Kenya, who specialises in 1500 metres. In 2008, he won 1500 metres races at the African Championships, the IAAF Golden League meeting of Weltklasse Zürich, and World Athletics Final. He missed the Beijing Olympics though, after finishing fourth at the Kenyan trials. He competed at the 2009 World Championships, but did not start his semifinal. His personal best over 1500 metres is 3:30.20, set in June 2009. Keitany is nicknamed “Land Cruiser”. He is the sixth-born in a family of 10. He graduated from Anasens High School in Wareng District in 2003 and took up running two year later. Haron Koech
Aron Kipchumba Koech (also known as Haron Koech; born 27 January 1990) is a Kenyan hurdler. At the 2015 Athletics Kenya World Championship Trials he finished third in the 400 metres hurdles event. Later that year he represented Kenya in the 400 metres hurdles event at the 2015 World Championships in Athletics in Beijing, China. With a personal best, in a time of 49.38, he finished 22nd in the heats. He was qualified for the semi finals where he finished 19th in a time of 49.54. Again in 2016 he finished third at the 2016 Athletics Kenya Olympic Trials behind his brother and Boniface Mucheru Tumuti. At the Olympics, Koech made the final while his brother was disqualified in the heats. Tumuti went on to capture the silver medal in National Record time, while Koech finished seventh. Haron Shakava (born 26 November 1992) is a Kenyan professional footballer who plays for Nkana FC in the Zambia Super League and the Kenya national team as a defender. International career Shakava made his debut for Kenya national team on 4 July 2015, in a second leg match of the 2016 African Nations Championship qualification against Ethiopia. Idris bin Haron (born 13 May 1966) is a Malaysian politician who served as the 10th Chief Minister of Melaka from May 2013 to May 2018, Member of the Melaka State Executive Council (EXCO) from March 2020 to resignation in October 2021, Member of the Melaka State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Sungai Udang from May 2013 to November 2021, Deputy Minister of Higher Education from March 2008 to April 2009 and Member of Parliament (MP) for Tangga Batu from March 2004 to May 2013. Ismail Haron (full name: Ismail bin Harun) (13 May 1946 – 9 April 2012) was a Singaporean singer. Biography Haron was born in Killiney Road, Singapore. The first group he joined was Valiants. He was with them for only a few months. Then he teamed up with Vigilantes some of whom were his secondary school classmates, to record their first EP under the Eagle label, with a series of Malay songs adapted from English hits, namely "Senyuman Terakhir" ("Green Green Grass Of Home"), "Pulang Pada-Ku", "Mari Sayang" ("Hang On Sloopy") and "Mari Menari" ("La Bamba"). Ismail was actually the second vocalist for The Vigilantes.
