Mukesh Agnihotri
Mukesh Agnihotri (born 9 October 1962) is an Indian politician from Indian National Congress. Since 2022, he has served as Deputy Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh since 2022. He is also a Member of Legislative Assembly in the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly from the Haroli Constituency in the Una District of Himachal Pradesh. After winning the Haroli Constituency in Himachal Pradesh Assembly Elections in 2003, 2007, 2012 and 2017, he was inducted into the Cabinet as Industries Minister with additional charge of Labour & Employment, Parliamentary Affairs, Information & Public Relations from 2012 to 2017. He was the leader of the Congress Legislature Party in Himachal Pradesh from 2018 to 2022. The Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly election, 2012 was held in Himachal Pradesh, India in 2012 after the five-year term of the incumbent state legislature and government expired following the assembly elections of 2007. Haroli
The Huli are an indigenous Melanesian ethnic group who reside in Hela Province of Papua New Guinea. They speak mainly Huli and Tok Pisin; many also speak some of the surrounding languages, and some also speak English. 2017 Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Election
The Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly election, 2017 was held on 9 November 2017 to elect all 68 members of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly. The term of the previous Legislative Assembly ended on 7 January 2017. Since 2012, the Indian National Congress Party was in power in the outgoing assembly with 36 seats. The lone opposition party was Bharatiya Janata Party. The Constitution of India states that the term of Legislative Assemblies is five years, at maximum.
