Harold Thomas Creasy
Harold Thomas Creasy, CBE (1873 – 31 October 1950) was a British engineer and colonial administrator. He was the Director of Public Works of Hong Kong from 1923 to 1932. Creasy was born in Ceylon in 1873. He studied at Bedford School and Crystal Palace School of Engineering and worked under Arthur C. Pain on improvements to the water system in Farnham 1895. He was the Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and Associate Member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers. In 1898, he joined the Public Works Department of Ceylon as district engineer and was appointed provincial engineer in 1900 and deputy director in 1917. He was subsequently occupied the director for a period and was a member of the Legislative Council of Ceylon. He was also the president of the Engineering Association of Ceylon. Order Of The British Empire
The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire is a British order of chivalry, rewarding contributions to the arts and sciences, work with charitable and welfare organisations, and public service outside the civil service. It was established on 4 June 1917 by King George V and comprises five classes across both civil and military divisions, the most senior two of which make the recipient either a knight if male or dame if female. There is also the related British Empire Medal, whose recipients are affiliated with, but not members of, the order. Richard McNeil Henderson
Richard McNeil Henderson, (; 14 January 1886 – 16 March 1972) was a British engineer and colonial administrator. He was the Director of Public Works (Hong Kong) from 1932 to 1939. Henderson was a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and Institution of Mechanical Engineers. During his service as Director of Public Works, he was responsible for the construction of South Kowloon Magistracy in 1933, Wan Chai Market in 1937 and Central Market in 1938. He was appointed a CBE in 1939. He was an ex officio member of the Legislative Council of Hong Kong.
