Harold Arthur Harris
Professor Harold Arthur Harris (27 October 1902 – 29 August 1974) was an academic associated with the University of Oxford. He was born in Oxford, where his father was a college servant. He was educated at Oxford High School, and went on to study at Jesus College, Oxford. Here, he gained a first in Classical Moderations, becoming a senior scholar, and graduating with first class honours in English. After graduation, Harris gained his teaching certificate, and in 1926 he was appointed Lecturer in Classics and English at St David's College, Lampeter. In 1934, he was made Professor of Classics, taking responsibility for English during the Second World War. He remained in the post until his retirement in 1968. Harris was responsible for a great deal of teaching at Lampeter. All St David's students were, at this time, expected to study Greek for two years. That's Life! (film)
''That's Life!'' is a 1986 American comedy-drama film directed by Blake Edwards and starring Jack Lemmon and Julie Andrews. The film was made independently by Edwards using largely his own finances and was distributed by Columbia Pictures. ''That's Life!'' was shot in Edwards and his wife Andrews' own beachside home in Malibu and features their family in small roles, including Edwards' daughter Jennifer Edwards, Andrews' daughter Emma Walton Hamilton and Lemmon's son Chris Lemmon portraying Andrews and Lemmon's adult offspring, while the senior Lemmon's wife Felicia Farr portrays a fortune teller. Because of the film's independent status, many of the cast and crew were paid below union-level wages, resulting in the American Society of Cinematographers picketing the film during production and taking an advertisement in ''Variety'' in protest. The Nuttiest Nutcracker
''The Nuttiest Nutcracker'' is a 1999 computer-animated direct-to-video Christmas film loosely based on the 1892 ballet ''The Nutcracker.'' The film was directed by Harold Harris and starred the voices of Jim Belushi, Cheech Marin, and Phyllis Diller. This film follows a group of anthropomorphic fruits and vegetables. Their goal is to help the Nutcracker's army get a star to the top of a Christmas tree before midnight and stop a rodent army from destroying Christmas. The film was released on home video by Columbia TriStar Home Video in 1999. The film aired on CBS December 4, 1999, in addition to being shown on cable.
