Jerauld County is a county in the U.S. state of South Dakota. As of the 2020 census, the population was 1,663. Its county seat is Wessington Springs. History In 1873, the area occupied by the present Jerauld county was organized into Wetmore County. In 1881, Wetmore and its neighbor county to the south, Cragin County, were combined to form Aurora County. In 1883, the area of the former Wetmore County was reincorporated as present-day Jerauld County. It was named for H. J. Jerauld, a legislator. Harmony Township is a township in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 512 at the 2020 census. Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of , of which is land and (0.89%) is water. History The area was first settled in 1789 when a road was built to connect Stockport on the Delaware River to the Susquehanna River at Cascade Creek. Harmony Township was formed in 1809 from parts of Willingborough (now Great Bend Twp) and New Milford Townships. The present-day Ararat, Oakland, Jackson, and Thompson Townships were later split from parts of Harmony Township. The borough of Susquehanna Depot was created in 1853 from part of Harmony Township. Harmony Township is a township in Forest County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 463 at the 2020 census, down from 666 in 2010, a figure which was, in turn, an increase from 511 as of the 2000 census. History The West Hickory Bridge was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. Geography Harmony Township occupies the northwestern corner of Forest County; it is bordered to the north by Warren County and to the west by Venango County. The Allegheny River forms the eastern boundary of the township. (It is the only township in Forest County that is entirely west of the river.)
