There was only one other middle school in Kissimmee at the time. It was called Beaumont Middle School and students began the year at that one in August 1974. Tri-M Music Honor Society, formerly known as Modern Music Masters, is an American high school and middle school music honor society. A program of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME), it is designed to recognize students for their academic and musical achievements and to provide leadership and service opportunities to young musicians.
