Harlecore
''Harlecore'' is the debut full-length album by British electronic musician Danny L Harle. It was released 26 February 2021 via Mad Decent. The album draws heavily on rave music, and features Harle taking on the personas of four different DJs, including: DJ Danny, MC Boing (a revived collaboration with PC Music producer Lil Data), DJ Mayhem (a collaboration with Scottish producer Hudson Mohawke) and DJ Ocean (a collaboration with American musician Caroline Polachek). ''Harlecore'' was supported by the singles "On a Mountain" and "Boing Beat", released 14 January 2021, and "Interlocked" and "Ocean's Theme", released 10 February 2021. Accompanying the album itself, Harlecore' will also act as a "24/7, virtual club experience". Background and release Harle had hosted many live shows, DJ sets and concerts featuring the "Harlecore" title, dating as far back as September 2017. Danny L Harle
Daniel Jack Eisner Harle is a British music producer and composer who records under the alias Danny L Harle. He was formerly signed to the London-based PC Music label and is a member of Dux Content with A. G. Cook. He has produced, composed, and remixed music for a number of artists; most prominently, he executive produced Caroline Polachek's 2019 album '' Pang''. He released his debut album '' Harlecore'' (2021) through the label Mad Decent, featuring collaborations with Polachek, Hudson Mohawke, and Lil Data. Early life Harle is the son of saxophonist John Harle. Hudson Mohawke
Ross Matthew Birchard (born 11 February 1986), better known by the stage name Hudson Mohawke, is a Scottish-American producer, composer, and DJ from Glasgow. He is known for his influential work in 21st century hip-hop and electronic music. A founding member of the UK label collective LuckyMe, his fractured, colorful take on hip-hop made him a leading figure in the late-2000s wonky scene. He released his debut album ''Butter'' in 2009 on Warp Records. He has followed with the solo albums ''Lantern'' (2015) and '' Cry Sugar'' (2022), both on Warp. Hannah Amond (born 20 June 1991), known professionally as Hannah Diamond, is an English singer, songwriter, photographer, and visual artist. She has recorded on A.G. Cook's PC Music label since 2013, beginning with her debut single " Pink and Blue". Her music and visual art employs an aesthetic of hyperreality, heavily produced cuteness in tension with sincerity. Her debut studio album, '' Reflections,'' was released in 2019. Diamond has also produced visual artwork and promotional materials for other artists and publications. Neo Jessica Joshua (born 20 December 1987), better known as Nao (), is an English singer-songwriter and record producer from East London. Her sound has been described as soul combined with electronic music, funk and R&B. Nao coined the term " wonky funk" to describe her style. David Paul Greenfield (29 March 1949 – 3 May 2020) was an English keyboardist, singer and songwriter who was a member of rock band The Stranglers. He joined the band in 1975, within a year of its formation, and played with them for 45 years until his death. Early life and education Greenfield was born on 29 March 1949 in the south coast seaside resort of Brighton. He learned guitar from an older schoolmate and, after leaving school, played for a year in bands at American bases in Germany. Jean-Jacques Burnel
Jean-Jacques Burnel (born 21 February 1952) is an English musician, producer and songwriter, best known as the bass guitarist and co-lead vocalist with the English rock band The Stranglers. Hugh Cornwell
Hugh Alan Cornwell (born 28 August 1949) is an English musician, singer-songwriter and writer, best known for being the lead vocalist and lead guitarist for the punk rock and new wave band the Stranglers from 1974 to 1990. Since leaving the Stranglers, Cornwell has gone on to record a further ten solo studio albums and continues to record and perform live. Martin Doherty
Martin Clifford Doherty (born 24 December 1982) is a Scottish musician, singer and record producer. He is a member of Glasgow-based pop band Chvrches, with whom he has recorded four studio albums. Prior to forming Chvrches, Doherty was a touring member of the indie rock bands The Twilight Sad and Aereogramme. Doherty plays keyboards, sampler, guitar and performs main vocals and backing vocals. Lauren Eve Mayberry (born 7 October 1987) is a Scottish singer, musician and songwriter. She is the vocalist and percussionist of the Scottish Pop music, pop band Chvrches.
