Jaish-e-Mohammed ( ur, , literally "The Army of Muhammad", abbreviated as JeM) is a Pakistan-based: "The JEM is a Pakistan-based, militant Islamic group founded by Maulana Masood Azhar in March 2000." Fazal ur Rehman Khalil ( ur, ) is a founder of ''Harkat-ul-Mujahideen (HuM)'' and current leader of '' Ansar-ul-Umma'', which is accused of being a front organization of the banned HuM. Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind ( ur, ) is an Al-Qaeda-affiliated Islamist militant group active in Kashmir. The group's stated objective is to impose Sharia law in Jammu and Kashmir and jihad against India. Background Zakir Rashid Bhat was an Islamist Kashmiri militant popularly known as Zakir Musa. He was a former field operational commander of Hizbul Mujahedeen. United Jihad Council
The United Jihad Council, also known as the Muttahida Jihad Council (MJC), is an Islamist Jihad, Jihadist organisation formed by the Pakistan Army for unified command and control over the anti-Indian terror groups operating in Jammu and Kashmir (state), Jammu and Kashmir. It was formed in the summer of 1994 and is currently headed by Syed Salahuddin, the leader of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen. The organisation was created to unify and focus efforts of various armed militant groups fighting against Indian rule in Kashmir. Sajjad Afghani
Muhammad Sajjad Khan was a Pakistani militant and Commander-in-Chief of Harkat ul-Ansar. He was known as Sajjad Afghani, due to his participation in the Soviet-Afghan War. Early life He was born in the village of Baibakh, Rawalakot, in the Poonch District of Pakistani Kashmir. Soviet Afghan War Sajjad Afghani joined the militancy under the banner of Harkat-ul-Mujahideen in the 1980s. He was well trained and remained involved in the Soviet-Afghan war.
