Harivu
''Harivu'' ( kn, ಹರಿವು) is a 2014 Indian Kannada language movie written & directed by debutant Manjunatha Somakeshava Reddy (S Manjunath / Mansore). A real life incident documented in a popular Kannada news paper written by Dr. Asha Benakappa gave thoughts for making this movie. Inspired by a true incident that took place in a Government hospital in Bengaluru in the recent years, Harivu speaks volumes about the relation between urbanization and alienation. Harivu has won 62nd National Award for "Best Kannada Film" from Directorate of Film Festivals. Sanchari Vijay
Vijay Kumar Basavarajaiah (17 July 1983 – 15 June 2021), known by his stage name Sanchari Vijay, was an Indian actor known for his work in Kannada cinema. He began his career as a stage actor. He trained on stage from Sanchari Theatre, a culture centre with its own drama troupe, based in Bangalore. For his portrayal of a transgender person in the Kannada film ''Naanu Avanalla...Avalu'' (2014), Vijay was awarded the National Film Award for Best Actor at the 62nd National Film Awards. He also received the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Actor and the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor – South for the performance. He received praise for his performances in ''Killing Veerappan'' (2016) and ''Nathicharami'' (2018). Charan Raj (composer)
Charan Raj is an Indian composer and singer known for his work in Kannada cinema. For his work in ''Jeerjimbe'' (2016), he was awarded the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Music Director. Early life Raj trained in Carnatic music with Perumbavoor G. Raveendranath and in Classical music with Neecia Majolly. He also holds a grade eight certificate in piano from the London School of Music. Career Raj's first major success came when ''Winds of Samsara'', an album of Ricky Kej and Wouter Kellerman won the Grammy Award for Best New Age Album in 2015. The album also featured vocals by Raj.
