Hardcore (1977 Film)
''Hardcore'' is a 1977 British comedy film directed by James Kenelm Clarke and starring Fiona Richmond, Anthony Steel, Victor Spinetti, Ronald Fraser and Graham Crowden. It depicts a highly fictionalised account of the life of Richmond, who was a leading pin-up in the 1970s. It was the first of two movies Anthony Steel made with Richmond. In the US the film was known as ''Fiona''. James Kenelm Clarke
James Kenelm Clarke (born 1941 at Great Rissington, Gloucestershire) (died, Norfolk 2020) is an English film director. He was educated at Leighton Park School and studied music with René Leibowitz in Paris. Career At the age of 18 he wrote the music for Michael Darlow's film ''All These People'' and then many scores for ITV Anglia, Anglia Television's plays (under George More O'Ferrall) and then at the suggestion of Sir John Woolf joined Anglia Television full-time in 1961 as a researcher on Anglia's local programme ''About Anglia''. In 1967, he joined BBC Television in London as a producer on the award-winning progmme ''Man Alive (BBC TV series), Man Alive'', edited by Desmond Wilcox. Clarke produced reporters Esther Rantzen, John Pitman (journalist), John Pitman, Joan Bakewell and James Astor. He also contributed films to the ''Braden's Week'' and ''That's Life!'' teams. Early life Coles John Jeremy Child was born on 20 September 1944 in Woking, Surrey, son of Foreign Office diplomat Sir Coles John Child, 2nd Baronet, DL, a Major in the Coldstream Guards and aide-de-camp to the Governor General and Commander-in-Chief of Canada from 1931 to 1933, and Sheila, daughter of Hugh Mathewson, of Pine Avenue, Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Michael Feast (born 25 November 1946) is an English actor of stage and screen. He was born in Brighton, and trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama.
