''Hard to Kill'' is the second studio album by American rapper Gucci Mane. It was released on October 24, 2006 via Big Cat Records and Tommy Boy Records. Production was mainly handled by Zaytoven, except for four tracks which were produced by Cyber Sapp, Nitti, Josh Butler, Chead George and Paul Roach. The album features guest appearances from Black Magic, Mac Bre-Z, Gangsta Boo, Jason Caesar, La Chat Chastity Daniels (born March 21, 1978), known professionally as La Chat, is an American rapper from Memphis, Tennessee. Gucci Mane
Radric Delantic Davis (born February 12, 1980), known professionally as Gucci Mane, is an American rapper and record executive. He helped pioneer the hip hop subgenre of trap music alongside fellow Atlanta-based rappers T.I. and Young Jeezy, particularly in the 2000s and 2010s. In 2005, Gucci Mane debuted with ''Trap House'', followed by his second album, '' Hard to Kill'' in 2006. His third studio album ''Back to the Trap House'' was released in 2007. ''XXL'' is an American hip hop magazine, published by Townsquare Media, founded in 1997. History In August 1997, Harris Publications released the first issue of ''XXL''. It featured rappers Jay-Z and Master P on a double cover. In December 2006, ''XXL'' took over the struggling hip-hop producer and DJ magazine '' Scratch'' (another publication owned by Harris Publications), re-branding it as ''XXL Presents Scratch Magazine''. Chastity Daniels (born March 21, 1978), known professionally as La Chat, is an American rapper from Memphis, Tennessee. She is best known for her association with the Hypnotize Minds record label. She was one of the two female members of Memphis-based hip hop group, Three 6 Mafia, alongside Gangsta Boo. Lola Chantrelle Mitchell (born August 7, 1979), better known by her stage name Gangsta Boo, is an American rapper, who was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. She was the second female member (after K-9) of the Memphis-based hip hop group Three 6 Mafia, where she initially rose to prominence. She left the group and label sometime in 2002, months after the release of her second album, '' Both Worlds *69'', due to money disputes and issues regarding promotion of her album. "Freaky Gurl" is a song by rapper Gucci Mane from his 2006 album ''Hard to Kill'' and his 2007 album ''Trap-A-Thon''. The song was produced by Cyber Sapp for Big Cat Records; its catchy beat interpolates "Superfreak" by Rick James, who is credited as a songwriter. The song performed poorly in 2006. Remixed and released as a single by Atlantic Records, it entered the Hot 100 pop chart at position 94 on October 6, 2007, then rose for two months to a peak of number 62 in early December. It peaked at number 19 on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart at the end of October. The remixed song served as the lead single to Mane's first album with Atlantic: ''Back to the Trap House''. Patchwerk Recording Studios is a recording studio located at 1094 Hemphill Avenue, West Midtown in Atlanta, GA. It was established in 1993 by former NFL offensive tackle Bob Whitfield of the Atlanta Falcons, and is currently owned and operated by Curtis Daniel III and Mike Wilson. The facility features two totally isolated recording studios, namely Studio 995 and Studio 9000, along with Studio 1019, a vocal tracking and editing studio in the 9000 wing of the building.
