Harare South Country Club
The Harare South Country Club is a country club to the south of Harare. Its facilities include a golf course and a cricket ground. The cricket ground has played host to first-class and List A one-day matches. It first hosted first-class cricket in 1987, when Zimbabwe B played Pakistan B. Following Zimbabwe's elevation to Test status in 1992, matches in the Logan Cup gained first-class status, with both Mashonaland Country Districts and Mashonaland using the ground for home matches; the ground also played host to List A matches for both Mashonaland Country Districts and Zimbabwe Country Districts, in addition to hosting three matches in the 2000 ICC Emerging Nations Tournament. First-class cricket has not been played there since 1997 and List A cricket has not been played there since 2001. Harare
Harare (; formerly Salisbury ) is the capital and most populous city of Zimbabwe. The city proper has an area of 940 km2 (371 mi2) and a population of 2.12 million in the 2012 census and an estimated 3.12 million in its metropolitan area in 2019. Situated in north-eastern Zimbabwe in the country's Mashonaland region, Harare is a metropolitan province, which also incorporates the municipalities of Chitungwiza and Epworth. Sri Lanka National Cricket Team
The Sri Lanka men's national cricket team, ( si, ශ්රී ලංකා ජාතික ක්රිකට් කණ්ඩායම, ta, இலங்கை தேசிய கிரிக்கெட் அணி) nicknamed The Lions, represents Sri Lanka in men's international cricket. Cricket Grounds In Zimbabwe
Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The batting side scores runs by striking the ball bowled at one of the wickets with the bat and then running between the wickets, while the bowling and fielding side tries to prevent this (by preventing the ball from leaving the field, and getting the ball to either wicket) and dismiss each batter (so they are "out"). Means of dismissal include being bowled, when the ball hits the stumps and dislodges the bails, and by the fielding side either catching the ball after it is hit by the bat, but before it hits the ground, or hitting a wicket with the ball before a batter can cross the crease in front of the wicket. Dick Kramer
Dick Kramer (born 1 November 1972) is a Dutch former cricketer. Kramer was born at The Hague in November 1972. A club cricketer for Quick Haag, Kramer made his debut in List A one-day cricket for the Netherlands against Durham in the 1999 NatWest Trophy, an English domestic one-day tournament the Netherlands were invited to take part in. With the Dutch defeating Durham, they advanced to the next round of the competition against Kent, where Kramer claimed the wicket of Andrew Symonds as his first List A wicket. He was selected in the Dutch squad for the 2000 ICC Emerging Nations Tournament, where he made a further four one-day appearances. Brian McMillan
Brian Mervin McMillan (born 22 December 1963) played 38 Test matches and 78 One Day Internationals for South Africa from 1991 to 1998. He was rated by many as the best all-rounder in the world in the mid-1990s, and won South African Cricket Annual Cricketer of the Year awards in 1991 and 1996. McMillan was a right arm medium-pace bowler and right-handed batsman. He was also a leading slip fielder, and holds the highest percentage of catches per Test for an outfielder in South Africa Test cricket history. The Netherlands national cricket team (Dutch: Nederlandse cricket team) is the men's team that represents the Kingdom of the Netherlands and is administered by the Royal Dutch Cricket Association.
