Harald Mogensen Prize
The Harald Mogensen Prize (Danish ''Harald Mogensen-prisen'') is a Danish literary award for detective novels awarded by the Danish Criminal Academy (''Det danske Kriminalakademi'', DKA). It was founded in 2006 and was first awarded in 2007. It is named after Danish author, editor, journalist and critic Harald Mogensen who was awarded The Danish Criminal Academy diploma in 1993. Gretelise Holm
Gretelise Holm (born 22 March 1946 in Tønder) is a Danish journalist and a writer of both fiction and non-fiction. After working as a columnist for the Danish newspapers '' Berlingske'' and '' Politiken'', she taught at the Danish School of Media and Journalism in Aarhus (1983–87). The four years she spent with her husband in Zimbabwe (1993–97) significantly influenced her writing, increasing her interest in women's rights and gender disparities. She has been particularly successful as a novelist, embarking on her Karin Sommer crime series in 2002 with ''Paranoia''. Elsebeth Egholm (born 17 September 1960) is a Danish journalist and best-selling author who writes mainly crime fiction novels. She is known internationally as the creator of the television series ''Those Who Kill''. Early life Born in Nyborg on the Danish island of Funen, she grew up in Lisbjerg near Aarhus, where her parents had a garden centre. Simon Pasternak
Simon Pasternak (born 1971) is a Danish author and publisher. He holds a master's degree in Comparative Literature from the University of Copenhagen. Together with his author colleague Christian Dorph Simon Pasternak is writing a series of crime novels that all take place in the last fourth of the twentieth century and in which historical events and people play a crucial role. Carl Valdemar Jussi Henry Adler-Olsen (born 2 August 1950) is a Denmark, Danish crime fiction writer, a publisher, editor, and entrepreneur, best known for his ''Department Q'' series. He made his debut as a nonfiction writer in 1984, and as a fiction writer in 1997. Early life Born in Copenhagen, he was the youngest of four children and the only boy. Agnete Friis (writer)
Agnete Friis (born 1974) is a Danish writer who is best known for co-authoring ''Drengen i kufferten'', or ''The Boy in the Suitcase'' with Lene Kaaberbøl. The book was short-listed for the Scandinavian Glass Key Award, competing against '' The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo'' and received the 2008 Harald Mogensen award for best crime novel. It has been translated into ten languages and there are more than two million copies in print. It was translated into English in 2011.
