Haqqu
''Haqqu'' (English: ''right'') is a 1996 Maldivian drama film produced and directed by Yoosuf Rafeeu. Produced under Bukhari Films, the film stars Reeko Moosa Manik, Mariyam Nisha and Mariyam Shakeela in pivotal roles. Plot Shahid (Reeko Moosa Manik) was sitting on the breakwater when Areesha ( Mariyam Shakeela) accidentally knocks him into the sea. He lashes out to her though she kept smiling shyly. Areeka hid Shahid's wallet and invited him to her house if he wants the wallet. Areeka's father, Imad and Shahid's father, Amjad (Roanu Hassan Manik) are childhood best-friends. They decided to marry their kids off despite Shahid's dissent. However, he determined to marry Areeka, solely for the sake of his parents. Easa Shareef
Easa Shareef is a Maldivian film director, actor, screen-writer, editor and lyricist. Career In 1993, Shareef collaborated with Yoosuf Rafeeu for his tragedy drama film '' Vaudhu'' (1993) which narrates the separation of a happy couple due to the societal differences. The following year, he directed and starred in the critically acclaimed film '' Zakham'' (1994) where he played the supportive brother of a young girl who has been forced to marry out of her will. In 1996, he directed the film '' Edhuvas Hingajje'' which follows the love triangle of a devoted wife, a reckless husband and his short tempered mistress. Roanu Hassan Manik
Roanu Hassan Manik is a widely acclaimed Maldivian film actor, who mainly works in the Maldivian film industry. Early life On 11 November 1977, while working as a Headmaster at educational centre, Manik produced, choreographed and starred in a theatre play, ''Vamundhaa Goiyy'' alongside his students which narrates the discrimination of locals moving from atolls to Male'. Afterwards he worked in several other theatre performances before making his screen debut in Musthafa Hussain-directed ''Gellunu Furaavaru'' (1980). Distributed through Television Maldives, Manik's talent was recognized by the producers and he was offered several films like ''Karudhaas Finifenmaa'' and ''Zaharu Dhin Ufaa'' which ultimately did not materialize. Arifa Ibrahim (born 22 June 1955) is a Maldivian actress, producer, director and writer. Early life Daughter of late Ibrahim Fulhu and late Fathma Fulhu, Arifa Ibrahim was born on 22 June 1955. Aminath Rasheedha (born 27 February 1967) is a Maldivian actress and director. Mariyam Nisha (born 19 May 1979) is a Maldivian former actress. Early life Nisha was born on 19 May 1979 in Dh. Rinbudhoo. Mariyam Shakeela is a Maldivian film actress. Umar Zahir
Umar Zahir (22 November 1963) is a Maldivian singer. Early life and career Zahir began his career as a musician by joining several music bands in performing at resorts and events. It was then his talent was identified by music composers and producers, where he was offered to lend his voice for several of their compositions.
