Alfred "Al" Delvecchio
Alfred "Big Al" Delvecchio is a character on the U.S. sitcom ''Happy Days''. He was played by Al Molinaro. Molinaro joined the cast in Season 4 after Pat Morita, who played Arnold, left after the end of the third season (in the last episode "Arnold Gets Married"). Subsequently Molinaro also played Al's twin brother priest Father Anthony Delvecchio. Al said that he also had a brother who worked at the sanitation department. Fictional character biography Al Delvecchio was the drive-in owner and cook of Arnold's Diner from season 4 to season 9. Al eventually married Chachi's mother, Louisa. He had a sighing catchphrase of "Yep-yep-yep...". For much of the series Al would talk about his former love Rosa Coletti and how she left him for a tie salesman. Out Of The Blue (1979 TV Series)
''Out of the Blue'' is an American fantasy sitcom that aired on ABC during the fall of 1979. It is chiefly notable as having featured a ''Mork & Mindy'' crossover, and for the debate surrounding its status as a spin-off of ''Happy Days''. Production The series starred Jimmy Brogan as Random, an angel-in-training who is assigned to live with (and act as guardian angel for) a suburban Chicago family (led by a single mom played by Dixie Carter), as well as work as a high school teacher. The series debuted on September 9, 1979, but it got poor ratings against '' 60 Minutes'' on CBS (the #1 show on TV that year) and Disney on NBC. With only seven episodes aired, ABC pulled ''Blue'', as well as fellow freshman sitcom '' A New Kind of Family'', after their October 21 airings. Five more episodes were produced, but only one ever aired on ABC (on December 16) before ''Out of the Blue'' was canceled. Jimmy Brogan
Jimmy Brogan (born September 18, 1948), sometimes credited as Jim Brogan, is an American stand-up comedian, writer and actor. He has made numerous standup appearances on the talk show circuit including ''The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson'' and ''Late Night with David Letterman''. He was a writer on ''The Tonight Show with Jay Leno'' for 9 years. As an actor, he starred in the ABC sitcom '' Out of the Blue''. Comedian Brogan is well known in the comedy clubs for his off the cuff adlib-style act. The ''Los Angeles Times'' has called Brogan “an absolute master at interacting with the crowd” and says, “he elevated crowd interaction to a high art.” Brogan started doing stand-up comedy in New York City in 1975. Within his first year and a half of doing stand-up he was a regular performer at the Improv, Catch a Rising Star and the Comic Strip. Cynthia Jane Williams (born August 22, 1947) is an American actress and producer, known for her role as Shirley Feeney on the television sitcom ''Happy Days'' (1975–1979), and '' Laverne & Shirley'' (1976–1982). Early life Williams was born in the Van Nuys district of Los Angeles, California, on August 22, 1947. The family moved to Dallas, Texas when she was a year old and returned to Los Angeles when she was ten years old. She has one sibling, a sister named Carol Ann. Ed Peck (March 26, 1917 – September 12, 1992) was an American actor. He is best known as Officer Kirk in ''Happy Days'' (1975–1983). Early life Peck was born in New York City on March 26, 1917. Career Peck played a captain in the Broadway production of ''No Time for Sergeants'' (1955). He was active in television and in films from 1951 to 1983, specializing in playing either police officers or military officers. In 1951, Peck replaced Eric Fleming in the title role of ''Major Dell Conway of the Flying Tigers'' on the DuMont Television Network. In 1969 Peck appeared as the Hotel Manager on the TV Series '' The Virginian'' in the episode titled "Journey to Scathelock." Howard C. Cunningham is a fictional character played by Tom Bosley on the 1970s sitcom ''Happy Days''. Actor Harold Gould played the character in the pilot, which aired as an episode of the anthology series ''Love, American Style''. He is the husband of Marion Cunningham, and the father of Chuck, Richie, and Joanie Cunningham. Originally, Gould was supposed to reprise his role on Happy Days as Howard Cunningham but wanted to commit to something else so Bosley was offered the part.
