Hapoel Nahliel F.C.
Hapoel Nahliel Football Club (Hebrew language, Hebrew: מועדון כדורגל הפועל נחליאל) was an Israeli Association football, football club based at the Nahliel neighborhood of Hadera. The club played 11 seasons in Liga Alef, then the second tier of Israeli football league system. History Several attempts were made to organize a club in Nahliel, the first in 1946, which resulted in the closing at the club during the 1947–1949 Palestine war. A second attempt, in the mid-1950s collapsed within financial difficulties, and the third attempt was made at the beginning of the 1956–57 Liga Gimel, 1956–57 season. The club was purchased in 1998 by Yoav kobi, then chairmen of Hapoel Givat Olga F.C., Hapoel Givat Olga, and the teams were merged. 1978–79 Liga Alef
The 1978–79 Liga Alef season saw Hapoel Nazareth Illit (champions of the North Division) and Hapoel Beit Shemesh (champions of the South Division) win the title and promotion to Liga Artzit. Promotion play-offs, held in neutral venue, introduced between the second placed clubs in each regional division. Hapoel Herzliya won over Maccabi Kiryat Gat, and became the third promoted club. 1963–64 Israel State Cup
The 1963–64 Israel State Cup ( he, גביע המדינה, ''Gvia HaMedina'') was the 25th season of Israel's nationwide football cup competition and the 10th after the Israeli Declaration of Independence. For this edition, which began on 21 September 1963, the IFA experimented with the competition's format, holding just one preliminary round, before entering all the teams, including Liga Leumit and Liga Alef teams into the competition in the second round. This move brought high scoring results in matches in which top-tier teams met lower tier opponents, including a record 20–0 result in the match between Hapoel Ramat Gan and Liga Gimel team Beitar Ein Karem. The 1961–62 Israel State Cup ( he, גביע המדינה, ''Gvia HaMedina'') was the 23rd season of Israel's nationwide football cup competition and the eighth after the Israeli Declaration of Independence. The competition began on 12 February 1961, less than two weeks after the conclusion of the previous competition. Despite this, the competition took slightly less than 15 months to complete, partly due to Israel's involvement in the 1962 FIFA World Cup qualification and its matches against Italy in late 1961. The IFA sought to play the final on Tu Bishvat, 15 February 1962, with the President presenting the cup, as the previous final was played. The 1959–61 Israel State Cup ( he, גביע המדינה, ''Gvia HaMedina'') was the 22nd season of Israel's nationwide football cup competition and the seventh after the Israeli Declaration of Independence. The competition began on 30 January 1960, two months after the conclusion of the former competition. Further rounds, until the eighth round, were played during the remainder of the 1959–60 season. Disagreements within the IFA caused a delay of over 5 months in the competition, and the quarter and semi finals were played in December 1960. The final was held at the Ramat Gan Stadium on 1 February 1961. Hapoel Tel Aviv, appearing in its first final since 1941, defeated Hapoel Petah Tikva 2–1, winning its 6th cup. Liga Gimel
Liga Gimel ( he, ליגה ג', lit. ''League C'') is the fifth and bottom division of Israeli Football League, a position it has held since 2009. From Liga Alef and downwards to this, each league is separated by region as well. History Liga Gimel was first established in 1951 as a third division, below Liga Alef and Liga Bet. In 1955, after designating the first tier as Liga Leumit, Liga Gimel was demoted to the fourth tier. Further demotions followed in 1976, after the second tier Liga Artzit to the fifth tier and in 1999, after the establishment of Liga Ha'Al to the sixth tier. At the end of the 2008–09 season, Liga Artzit was scrapped and Liga Gimel was brought up back to the fifth tier. The 1958–59 Israel State Cup ( he, גביע המדינה, ''Gvia HaMedina'') was the 21st season of Israel's nationwide football cup competition and the sixth after the Israeli Declaration of Independence. The competition began on 6 December 1958, with 136 Liga Gimel teams competing at the first round. Further rounds, until round 5 were played during the remainder of the 1958–59 season. Liga Lemuit teams entered the competition on the sixth round, on 12 September 1959. The final was held at the Ramat Gan Stadium on 19 November 1959. Maccabi Tel Aviv defeated Hapoel Petah Tikva 4–3, after leading 4–0, and almost losing the advantage during the last ten minutes of the match. Israel State Cup
The Israel State Cup ( he, גביע המדינה, ''Gvia HaMedina''), is a knockout cup competition in Israeli football, run by the Israel Football Association (IFA). The State Cup was first held in 1928 as the People's Cup. Because it involves clubs of all standards playing against each other, there is the possibility for "minnows" from the lower divisions to become "giant-killers" by eliminating top clubs from the tournament, although lower division teams rarely reach the final. The current holders of the State Cup are the Israeli Premier League club Hapoel Haifa, who beat Beitar Jerusalem in the 2018 final on May 9, 2018. Maccabi Tel Aviv have 23 titles, having the record for most titles won. Hapoel Tel Aviv in 1937–1939 and 2010–2012 are the only club to have retained the State Cup for three consecutive seasons.
