Hapoel Ahva Haifa ( he, הפועל אחוה חיפה) is an Israeli football club based in Haifa. The club currently plays in Liga Gimel Samaria division and play home matches at the Avi Ran Ground in Haifa. The 2009–10 Israel State Cup ( he, גביע המדינה, ''Gvia HaMedina'') was the 71st season of Israel's nationwide football cup competition and the 56th after the Israeli Declaration of Independence. It started on 4 September 2009, while the final was held in Ramat Gan Stadium on 11 May 2010. The competition was won by Hapoel Tel Aviv, who had beaten Bnei Yehuda 3–1 in the final. Israel State Cup
The Israel State Cup ( he, גביע המדינה, ''Gvia HaMedina''), is a knockout cup competition in Israeli football, run by the Israel Football Association (IFA). The State Cup was first held in 1928 as the People's Cup. Because it involves clubs of all standards playing against each other, there is the possibility for "minnows" from the lower divisions to become "giant-killers" by eliminating top clubs from the tournament, although lower division teams rarely reach the final. The current holders of the State Cup are the Israeli Premier League club Hapoel Haifa, who beat Beitar Jerusalem in the 2018 final on May 9, 2018. The Israeli football league system is a series of interconnected leagues for club football in Israel. The system has a hierarchical format with promotion and relegation between leagues at different levels, and allows even the smallest club to dream of rising to the very top of the system. The 2012–13 Liga Bet season saw Beitar Nahariya (champions of the North A division), Hapoel Beit She'an/Mesilot (champions of the North B division), Hapoel Mahane Yehuda (champions of the South A division) and Maccabi Be'er Ya'akov (champions of the South B division) win the title and promotion to Liga Alef. The 2007–08 Liga Alef season saw Hapoel Umm al-Fahm (champions of the North Division) and Maccabi Ironi Bat Yam (champions of the South Division) winning the title and promotion to Liga Artzit.
